I've been around the drags for over 30 yrs and I really like what the boys from OKC 405 have done for the sport. As for Kye he is a Gentlemen and a great racer! I'm a big fan of Daddy Dave. He is one of the best drivers in the sport. He may be a little crusty at times but he is usually very polite and a Great drag racer. I barely concern myself with NHRA any more but I follow Street Outlaws closely. The 405 boys have carved out a great niche for themselves! They are fantastic racers.

Yep more to being fast than just HP set up and driving can be the difference and usually is. John force following all the same rules as others for years dominated drag racing in NHRA as his set up and driving was better than the others. HP was never the issue they all had power, many tried so hard they smoked the tires too much. It is that fine line of grip and power that separates the good from the great.

Dave got the power back down, and when Kye broke loose,and had to peddle it, Dave came around for the win. both cars are stupid fast. and with cars of this caliber it always comes down to tenths of a second.

Like seeing it being done on a drag strip with wider lanes and K rails. Much safer than single lanes with a chain link fence and a curb not to mention telephone poles.
