I see what you did here. But you're missing one thing, he didn't explain how he arrived at his conclusions but stated that the foundation the Goldman rule lies wouldn't allow psychiatric evaluation in most courtroom proceedings. Furthermore, even with the rule applied, it merely states that an armchair diagnosis can not be given on the basis of *public* record. He also had access to private/confidential records. And last of all: he hasn't provided a diagnosis with respect to the term "professional opinion".

Happens all the time. I remember 1 expert witness, also a doc, testified in a cold case. One of the questions was somthing like, "did you write an autopsy 20 years ago saying this type of head trauma had to be inflicted by another person"? (Because the Dr was saying the opposite at that point) The Dr responded, "Maybe. Probably actually, back then I hadn't seen it enough & wasn't nearly as experienced as now. I made that mistake a lot back then" Well... your medical opinion back then made him a murder suspect, and although they didn't have enough evidence the cold case officer working the case had a million notes about his guilt, and built a case that shouldn't have been built.

Its simply his opinion about a very specific point in time. He was asked 50 different ways about how his opinion was interpreted. At that time, regardless of outside influences, this is what he saw. Only correlation can be presented in statistical analysis but there's still direct link between smoking and lung cancer. On the other hand, diagnosis on mental illness relying on the relationship between symptom (effects caused by the illness) and its cause (illness itself). So there's only correlation. He is SO unlikable. This attorney seems so unshaken by all this psychiatrists huff and puff. Props to him! He needs to just answer the questions he’s so haute and gloves off. I wouldn’t want him to evaluate me.

A “professional witness” giving his unprofessional opinion and behaviour in court. Great!🙄Who needs a psychiatrist if this is the kind of guy who keeps saying he is an “expert” and lets his emotion get the better of him in court? He obviously isn’t a member of the AMA and doesn’t know ethics in the medical field.

This guy is a danger to anyone seeking help. He goes by the standard of care which is medical tyranny, especially for those that need emotional help.
