True. A great bad guy, but a great 🏴 actor no longer with us and one who was legendary for his language skills. He played more than a few German officers (Yes, that one 🤣) and SS officer Lutzig in the long running series Manhunt. Also studied Huron, in order to play Magua, the bad guy (naturally) in Last of the Mohicans. Only just checked that he'd checked out😔

this film and the first film were seriously big parts of my childhood, and i`ve got a funny feeling i probably remember this more than perhaps the peter davidson era of doctor who that was on tv at the time, and if you were lucky enough to have see this on a cinema screen back in the 60`s, then considering that you would have watched doctor who at the time on a small black and white television, with perhaps not the best quality sound or picture, and you saw these films in all there colour and glory and with really marvellous music, then you could never forget watching them, and since the second one of these films is even more fast paced and even more of a thrilling adventure, its possibly my most favourite of the two, and even with the doctor not being played by william hartnell but by peter cushing, who i could look upon as one of the best actors just for star wars alone let for his hammer films, i just love his version of the doctor.

In the original TV story, the character Brockley was based on was called Ashton. Like Brockley, he was a black market dealer who traded food to the slave workers for rare metals and such. Rather than being killed off by the Daleks, he was instead slain by a Slyther; mutant animals the Daleks bring from Skaro to roam the mine a night as guard dogs.
