Irn Bru, made in Scotland from girders. Cannae beat it! Secret recipe, tastes like nothing else in the world. PS. top tip, some plastic insulation from heavy duty electrical cables, I use this on the handles and ring on the lid of my pot, excellent heat insulation to stop your fingers getting burnt.

If it's PVC, when it's exposed to excess heat it gives off Hydrogen Chloride. When this combines with water ( in your meal or in your lungs) it converts to Hydrochloric Acid!!!.

I had 4 days camping in wales this weekend, I draped my 3x3 tarp over the naturehike cloud peak 2, and put a couple of poles up at the front. It was a pain to get in and out of the tent, but I could sit under the awning and socialize with the group I was with during all the rain. Tried to scan the QR but my phone won't take it from the TV.

We had massive storms early September in Snowdonia, but we still enjoyed 10 our day camp. Although we unpitched the first dry morning we had, and dried every bit of the tent, it took two days for it to dry properly at home. As for living earwigs dropping from the pole sleeves in the house, alive 😱. It didnt put us off lol

I like all my stuff in the tent if possible, if the bag does need to be in a vestibule I still wrap it in a tarp. Quite an interesting tent however I'm not why it needs two doors. It's good that it's free standing.
@worstuserever2 жыл бұрын
I don't like single skin tents but wouldn't mind for a cheap, compact, contingency shelter on longer day hikes, although not this one because it just isn't long enough for me unfortunately. I don't like belongings exposed either, pack and shoes inside a vestibule at least. With packs I rarely hang anything outside as I'm paranoid it'll fall off unnoticed. If there's a compelling reason then I'll use multiple attachment points.

Cheers for that look at this interesting tent Mr D It is ultra tiny and imho would be great in the warmer months 90 quid is not too bad although glass poles are not my favourite. Out of curiosity and as im to lazy to look it up whats the HH? Single skin with a sewn in ground sheet IMHO never really works . So far ive found a teepee with a seperate bath tub floor to be the best for combating condensation. It doesnt stop it but lets it run down outside the bath tub so as long as you keep clear of the skin you keep dry. Again thanks for the review and putting up with a damp night for our benefit.
@DaleyOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s pretty airtight with the doors closed. The single skin lanshans have a section to allow run off too so aren’t as bad 👍
@steveb19722 жыл бұрын

@wr11202 жыл бұрын
I keep all my stuff inside the tent too for a simple reason. Whenever there is other people around in view of your tent and they see stuff, they might be tempted to snatch something useful if you're not around like going to town or taking a shower. Some gear is quite expensive and it takes less than a minute to open your tent, grab some stuff and close it again. And if caught what would happen anyway, it's not like they'll get 10 years of hard labour. If the tent is closed up and there is an inside tent closed up as well there is a psychological barrier to open that one up because someone might be in there that they can't see. The only exception I make is with my shoes because most people hate to use other people's used shoes. I'm not a distrustful person but I grew up in a village and live in a big city and I know how anonimity can change people's behaviour.
