Great collection and demonstration! One exercise not included here is the sandbag resisted glute bridge. Sandbags are the ideal form of resistance for glute bridges; they just work better and are more comfortable than barbells or kettleballs.

Finally my gym have 'allowed us' access to the sand bags :-) Been doing some challenging new flows/complexes. People in the gym aren't using them as they're so stuck on the machines :-( and there's 20 of these bang spanking new bags...... So I have decided I need to make an example & hope people will be inspired to use them or take some ideas off me, ideas I've taken from other people..... Thanks for the ideas, inspiring, thorough, intelligent, dynamic as always....

Dalibore sve pohvale. Jedan od retkih,koji svaku vezbu izuzetno pravilno i precizno radis. Vecina "trenera" bi trebalo puno vise da obrati paznju na pravilno izvodjenje. Ocekujem jos tvojih videa,sve najbolje!

Thanks. Only proper nutrition and working on yourself can help you lose weight. Exercise is the least important, daily movement, avoiding long sitting and what I said above are the keys...

Same as with regular good morning except you hold the weight on your forearms. Abs are always tight, push your butt back while keeping your lower back as straight as possible. Bend the knees, but don't move them forward at all. Just keep pushing the butt back until you feel a nice stretch in the hamstrings...
@nickstr11 жыл бұрын
what exactly do you do at "zercher good morning"? do you clench your abs?

HI. Can U specify parts of body or muscle for each exercises please?
@DaliborPetrinic10 жыл бұрын
Hi Pawel. Muscle isolation is a bodybuilding myth, since it is impossible to isolate just one muscle. These are functional exercises that heavily engage the core and the legs. If there is pressing involved then the shoulders, triceps and forearms. If rowing is in play then back, biceps and forearms. Explosive lifts work the whole body from toe to head. But every exercise works multiple muscles and treats the body as a whole, not a sum of body parts. And that's what functional fitness is all about...

i wanna buy one of this sand bag.What is the better weight for a circuit training?
@DaliborPetrinic8 жыл бұрын
There is smaller one that fills up to 20kg and bigger one that fills up to 40kg. For circuit is better smaller one....

How much does that bag weigh? I have a 70lb sand bag
@DaliborPetrinic9 жыл бұрын
Ralf R it depends on the exercise, it is best to have adjustable sandbag because with just one fixed weight you are limited in the exercise selection...
@grgoyal9 жыл бұрын
Yea im planning on buying the smaller bag also my 70lb bag has removable bladders but i think its more of a 100lb bag because i filled both bladders with 50lbs of sand from home depot
@fleurruddick145910 жыл бұрын
what weight would you recommend to use here?
@DaliborPetrinic10 жыл бұрын
Depends on the exercise. Compound exercises 25-50kg. Core and lunge variations 10-25kg. Depends on the goal and fitness level, of course... Same as with the barbell, start light and work your way up...

How do you know how many reps to do? I know lots of people say just do as many as you can but honestly we all know that's bull. It's good to have a rep goal. Is there like a formula of how many reps you should aim for? Like maxing out your rep count in a set then taking a percentage of that?
@DaliborPetrinic8 жыл бұрын
+Drew this is just a demo of the exercises, as for the reps, you need to think outside of the box. reps and sets don't mean much, movement quality is everything... who cares if you can do 3x10 if your form is shit? This video is from a few years back, when I had classic view of fitness. Today, I'm much wiser and don't even do any weights, just my own bodyweight. New era of fitness is coming and it's called MOVEMENT - what we should have done all along, if weren't brainwashed with bodybuilding era...

ok...so now i am armed with 30 bad ass exercises and a pink sandbag lol...can someone please tell me how to build a workout out of all these. they all look like compound movements, so can i just pick a few to do daily? ...and can we please give it up for this man..those kneeling jumps were insane!! (i probably WON'T be including those in my workout lol)
@DaliborPetrinic3 жыл бұрын
Hey there 😊 This is a demo of some of the best exercises you can do with a sandbag. Pick a few you like the best, just make sure you hit the whole body, and do a few sets of them in a circuit fashion. 2-3 times per week and you should be all set... 🙏

@DaliborPetrinic10 жыл бұрын
It's not straight legged. You would injure your back like that..
@Spimmick10 жыл бұрын
Livestrong.com's channel has a video of how to perform a good-morning and it is straight-legged. It is meant to target your hamstrings amd lower back. With improper form you'll mess up your back for sure.
@DaliborPetrinic9 жыл бұрын
Joe Baca if you have good flexibility and mobility than you can try straight legged, but most people don't that is why this is a better option. It works the hams the same, trust me... ;)
