Very few people in Texas wear cowboy hats like this; though a lot of the law enforcement still wears them, as in this video, and the UT Longhorn band does. As much as I enjoy seeing JR get his (and the reason is because Larry Hagman played him so well - a vilian much of the time you love to hate), I can see his point to the officer: "Do you also mow his lawn on your days off?!😂" I mean JR is concerned about kidnapping (although it really wasn't since Sue Ellen had the kid), the sheriff just sided with Clayton in a funny way, "I don't see any crime being committed, ain't that right Clayton?!" And Clayton just replies in a funnier tone: "That's right Bo."
