It's not people hating thst Brecka did a good job with Dana....it's that Brecka is a snake oil salesperson that is trying to mystify the process. It's obvious Dana got healthy by exercise, dropping weight, and getting on hormone replacement. It wasn't the other weird shit that did the work. All you gotta do is eat healthy, exercise, get to a healthy bodyfat.

@@liamhowie4728sadly that's not true. I'm financially pretty well off and can afford to see most doctors with or without insurance coverage. I'm 63, female 5'4 120 always fit eat mostly organic and definitely put in the work. Over the years whenever the doctor couldn't figure out what was wrong they either blew me off, or as I got older told me that's what happens when you get older. One declared me health as a horse. When I had the nerves to ask then why do I feel like crap, he asked me if I had ever been treated for mental illness. After that he and his staff started talking to me like I was insane. This jerk milked my insurance for all they would pay and thousands out of pocket from me. He didn't help one bit and I paid thousands to be told I was crazy because he was incompetent 😞

It's not the lack of hydrogen water, CGMs and Ayuhuasca retreats that are contributing to the morbid obesity and metabolic illness in this country. It's the fact that people literally eat all day long anymore. Food is so ubiquitous in today's society, if people feel the slightest twinge of hunger they think they need to eat. It's not a mystery. I see it all around me every day. For most people, skipping one meal is torture, so forget a prolonged or intermittent fast. People have lost any semblance of self control.

Don't forget the general quality of food in america is terrible. So much artificial crap in our food that is banned in other countries. Couple this with chemicals like pesticides or other things in the water and even if you eat decent there is still things that can wreak havoc on your physiology
@jasonwareing905
@jasonwareing905 6 ай бұрын
@thomashunt6000 you hit the nail on the head! Americans in particular are addicted to instant gratification be it diet or social media or the latest and greatest. Not many in America wants to physically work hard anymore. There are some but when was the last time you seen a neighbor hand wash his car or change his oil in his driveway? Americans have become soft. It's why our country is falling.
@pattireznik5547
@pattireznik5547 6 ай бұрын
The reason people eat constantly is entirely due to eating processed food which is DESIGNED to create a mental and physical addiction to "food". Eating fatty real meat and keeping carbs to 30/day will fix this and many other health issues. There is an intentional problem with our healthcare and food system in America. Don't be fooled.

Here's free advice that you didn't ask for: eat healthy, intermittent fast most of the week, workout 5x/week (mix of resistance training, HIIT and zone 2 cardio) and get good sleep (for me this about 6-7 hours a night)1. I'm 50, 10% body fat, 6 pack abs and I'm always in a great mood. I've lived this way for years and I don't have access to a fraction of what Dana has and I don't pay anyone to coach or train me.

You know fasting isn’t for everyone. If it works for you that’s cool. However, saying it like it’s something that will work for everyone just isn’t the truth. It’s always gonna circle back to how many calories you take in . I’ve done the fasting and personally I feel better just following a balanced diet and not overeating.

Has very little to do with Brecka. From personal experiance at 62 started working out again " after 12 years doing nothing" as part of planned rehab after total knee replacement, combined with modest diet change .Was having reasonable results and feeling better for sure. Had Testosterone level checked and was 180. Started TRT with levels now at 750ishb3 months later " 2 sub Q injections per week " . Light years differance in strength gains, endurance, and rate of fat loss, fatigue after 5 months on TRT with levels averaging 600-850 still working to ballance to 750 range " If that enven possibleb? ". 100% TRT combined with smart exercise 5 days per week and modest diet change will offer huge benifits. By default many meds will go away just from modest diet changes, regular exercise and normal hormone levels.

Layne is a clown. Bart Kay destroyed him yesterday. It was hilarious. Dana is a new to understanding nutrition. One doesn’t need to pay Gary Brecka 10’s of 1,000’s to achieve his results: Whole food, Keto diet Exercise No alcohol Sleep TRT These are the things that changed Dana’s life for the better. Gary not needed for any of them.

This is exactly the protocol I developed for myself back in 2018. The only difference is I supplement well. Magnesium (2-3 kinds), D3/K2, B complex plus B12, methylated folate, DHEA )lowish dose), NAC, ALA are the core. With a few others on a semi-regular basis. I stay away from processed foods, all sugar, no alcohol (I used to love social drinking), better sleep with cool and dark room. Daily exercise, constantly varied. I prefer keto because my body really likes it. My eating window is typically 5 hours, two meals. I don’t miss anything other than milk chocolate, and occasionally a sandwich or toast, but there are great alternatives. If I want a snack I make a small bowl with aged Italian cheese or Stilton, macadamia, olives, sweet pepper, pickled beets, prosciutto, EVOO and ACV. I freaking love it. I don’t mind an occasional day of being off, but never fully processed food, because it’s shit.

Lol you can't afford to fast? Can't afford to step outside and do grounding barefoot in the grass somewhere? Can't afford to intermittent fast or not eat for days at a time? Can't afford to research wimhof breathing techniques on you tube? Why whine on social media when the reality is you won't put in the effort to change?!

I will say my primary care doctor has suggested changes in diet and strongly urged fasting. He's also on TRT and has abs in his late 50s. Some doctors would prefer Americans fix their health issues through diet. Americans ESP want an easy button aka a magic pill to fix all their problems versus doing preventative medicine. The issue is social media and you tube censors a lot of this stuff so you grab it while you can. But Americans need to quit being soft and comfy. The resources and opportunities to get healthy and cancer free are out there. Quit sugar completely. Learn about keto and carnivore. Learn about fasting. Learn about Gary Brecka. Quit making excuses!

Its undeniable that his health exponentially improved with the brecka protocol. Problem is, a lot of it should be credited to losing a lot of weight not the not so accurate things that brecka preach. Believe me when I say I really want to believe in everything brecka is saying but i just gave up on that since he has been proven multiple times for being wrong.

It’s a lot more complicated than losing weight. You won’t understand unless you have been there. There are many things that prevent weight loss, it’s not calories in, calories out. It’s way more complex. Your hormones need to be working right, your liver and kidney functional in a normal way, gut biome is hugely important, you don’t want to be fighting bacterial overgrowth or fungal/parasite infections. The list goes on. But sugar is a poison and the food industry is out of control. When did bread need to be made with oil and sugar? Shit American bread cannot be called bread in Europe. Eat better, sleep better, exercise better, hydrate better, get sun, find positivity. Get leaner.
