Gaming hardware and graphics used to be improve at an incredibly rapid rate. It was exciting. We will never see that again. Why aren't graphics getting better? They are. It's just getting harder to notice. The cost of improving gaming hardware and software development is getting increasingly expensive, while the actual impact for gamers is getting harder to notice. Would it be better if they just stopped trying to get better?
