Remember Thor is physically durable enough to withstand the heat of a neutron star for a few moments. A neutron star is around 1 million degrees Kelvin, for comparison, our sun is only 7000 degrees Kelvin. As for hulk, we have seen him take 25mm rounds from a F-35 like it was nothing and easily survive falling from the upper atmosphere.

Another thing to consider is group dynamics and combos. The Seven dont combo well at all because they've never seriously fought together and all of their powers are just worse versions of Homelander's. The Avengers know how to work to distract or combo their enemies. If Homelander doesnt immediately laser them, then Hawkeye and Black Widow will probably act as distractions throwing bullets and arrows into everyone elses eyes until the heavy hitters can take them down

Homelander quips and fires heat rays at Banner, who becomes the Hulk and jumps on Homelander. Thor quips about how he does not like to hit women before sending her flying through a building. Noir and Cap also start fighting. Widow and Hawkeye might have been killed by A-Train or they might be nearby hiding and there for any support and keep innocents away. By this point Homelander is crying and screaming as he has tried everything to get the Hulk to let go as Hulk is busy smashing him into everything he can find. Ironman predicts A-Train's route and heads him off, taking him out in a single shot as well. Starlight will then go after Thor because Thor just took Maeve out. That does not go well for her either. They then help Cap, if he has not yet beaten Black Noir, finish him. When they all recollect, Hulk is dragging Homelander's beaten body with him. Cap quips to Hulk 'You broke your toy.' End. (That is not me being a fanboy as I love The Boys and Gen V. :) )

It's unclear what the fastest Iron Man armor is, but even in the MCU, we've seen him reach speeds of Mach 3 - three times faster than sound, or about 2300 miles per hour. And yes translucent might be immune to damage from regular weapons but Iron Mans weapons are everything but regular.

Something else to take into account - if they are given any prep time the avengers win even harder - since Iron Man, Hawkeye and Black Widow would all be able to deploy thermal smoke to counter Homelanders heat vision. Iron Man also has Infrared vision in his armour, to nullify Translucent's invisibility. If you go by the original comic books and the 1960's cartoons, cap's shield is a vibranium/admantium alloy. This explains why his shirld is so indestructible and can ricochet so many times in combat.

People underestimate Toney's Avengers 1 suit. Toneys Avengers 1 suit is able to tank Thors punches and Lightning the same Lightning that is able to destroy a massive chunk of Jotunheim. HL best speed feat is recorded at MACH 2 and Toney's suit is able to go that Fast in Iron Man 1. Now before any of you HL fanboys say: Well he was fast enough to outrun a C4 explosion. No while that is true that feat is inconsistent as he has never shown to go that fast again not even in combat. Toney alone is able to defeat The SEVEN lmao.

True, but thats just defence, any offence that can hurt homelander? Not really, but thats the same with homelander a rocket from tonys suit would maybe slightly injure homelander (nkt gonna mention bullets cuz obviously bullet proof and same with hot energy blast he literally shoots hotter lazars out of his eyes) and homelanders punches would slightly hurt ironman Homelanders lazars however are hot, very hot, like instantly go through steel hot. Tonys suit (mark VII) is strong against bullets and physical attacks and cool temperatures, not heat, imo with enough time of them going back and forth with each other eventually homelanders lazars will go through and well you know what his lazar does to skin. Iron man imo is not strong enough to defeat homelander on his own, and especially not the entire 7 …. Thor would solo slap the 7 up doe XD

He can also shoot lasers that can wipe cities off the map and damage Thanos who can tank the power of the power stone. So yes Iron man has attacks that can damage homelander

It also helps that the Avengers, even in the first movie, had better teamwork. Not the best at that point, but they'd be a lot more likely to protect each other than The 7 would be.
