Dania Beach landmark being torn down piece by piece

YAAAAAAAAY~!!!! let's tear down the only coaster in South Florida to build yet another shopping mall! Florida is just the worst. I watched this getting torn down one day and it was heartbreaking.

Refardless of the planned shopping center, the coaster was history. It had been closed for 5 yearsat that point, abandoned because they didnt turn a profit. It's not like the shopping center was the demise of the coaster operating, just the demise of the structure. That's a lot different.

A lot of people of all ages like Dania Pointe. I've only been there on weekend nights, but it was always crowded. Lots of restaurants, movie theatre, bowling, a nice kid friendly play and water area, live entertainment and some nice shopping. It's an outdoor entertainment complex, not an indoor mall.
