Joseph Pilates was a real tough guy long into old age. He has helped many people to fitness. Lots of teachers jumped on the bandwagon and taught his methods. Alas not all were qualified. I suspect that Danny chose the wrong teacher. Also for a back injury it would have been best to chose a personal teacher, with a proven diploma. I started Pilates at 79 and now approaching 81 I continue to visit my teacher on a one to one basis. Without Pilates I would be a bent, stiff old man, whereas I am still quite sprightly and flexible.

george stroumboulopoulos ? Greek is such an easy language. Stroumboulo means round (plump) and o-poulos means "son of" so somewhere in antiquity there was a plump man in his ancestry.

No. The story is, that the theatre where this happened has a stage with a slope at the front. When Danny walked out, the lights blinded him. He couldn't see where he was going, and fell over the slope into the orchestra pit.
