the story of the man with babies falling on his head, is true, but they got a lot wrong, and that image is fake. So what happened was, a man was walking on the sidewalk, when suddenly a baby fell out of a window and landed on top of his head. He managed to stop the baby from dying, and the baby survived. Then one year later, he was walking on a different sidewalk, when a different baby fell out a window and on to his head. he also managed to save this baby, but the baby broke a lot of bones and stuff. The man was then nicknamed "The Baby Magnet". That is the real story.

My understanding is that it was mostly targeted at people living in very small city apartments, giving them a place for their baby to hang out and get "fresh air" without taking up valuable space inside. The thing with the Bélmez faces was poorly explained in the post Danny found. It's not like the mayor one day came out of nowhere. The faces started appearing and the people in the house thought it was weird and cleaned them, but they kept on appearing. It creeped the owners of the house to the point the husband broke the floor, yes. But the whole thing with the mayor happened after a bunch of paranormal investigators went to the house and some newspapers covered the story. When the it blew up to the point all of Spain was going nuts about it, the mayor decided to order for the floor to be tested. I seem to recall that there was also a plot to attract tourism to the town involved and it ended up been proven that the faces were fake and made with some chemical. Like, the first faces were just a coincidence, but when they found it could be profitable they just made more. This is actually a huge urban legend in Spain. Not really creepy, but it is an interesting story.

There isn't a presidential election scheduled for 2082 anyway, unless the election system changes between now and then. That said, considering the conspiracy indicates the person will be the 56th president that also means that there are 12 presidents between now and then (including Trump and assuming no assassinations or other extenuating circumstances). Doing the math, that only allows for 4 two-term presidents between the current year and then. That's 8 one term presidents (a heck of a lot considering most in history have gotten two terms). Maybe we'll get lucky and Trump will be one of them, lol. Also, maybe we should be worried, haha. Why tell us only that one thing? Sometimes it's distortion, deformations or monsters. It's all only when you look for like 10 mins,, but that's only if you focus on a spot and literally do nothing at all. Not look at how you look or anything like that. Just literally nothing but focus. But we look in the mirror everyday and nothing happens so it's cool unless if you want to try. Anyways I'd advice anyone from doing it, it's detrimental and not beneficial in anyway besides it's certainly in most cases traumatic to most people who tried this.

That beach thing is actually true. Or, well I'm not exactly sure where it happened but beach HAS been stolen more than once in recent years. Sand is becoming an increasingly rare and expensive resource because we need so much for cement and glass and are taking out way more than nature can replenish right now. So, as silly as it sounds, there are now criminal organizations that are literally stealing sand en masse and it's both destroying ecosystems AND is bad for the affected countries' economies. It's basically a sand mafia. So while you may think it sounds silly that someone could go to prison for "stealing a beach", it's actually a pretty major crime.

If anyone's interested, I'm procrastinating a paper so I looked up all the facts to see which ones are true ! Sorry if i got any info wrong, im just going off wikipedia and my own knowledge ^^; 1. The Devil's voice thing never happened BUT there was a protest on that day against the vietnam war, in which people were beaten and attacked by riot police. One of the chants they sang as they were attacked was published under the name "August 29 1968" and apparently freaks some people out because of the voices in it. It was broadcasted on TV, so maybe that's what the "fact" is referencing? 2. The Troxler Effect is a real thing but it doesn't work that way!! You won't see a "scary" version of yourself, but you might see reflections of any bright light in your vision or sometimes certain patterns will change slightly or "move." It's just your brain balancing what stimuli to focus on basically. 3. The Russian boy is real, his name is Boriska Kipriyanovich. There is some weird circumstances around him that are true. Even as a toddler, he was incredibly gifted to the point of getting attention from scientists, and he claims that his extreme intelligence is caused by him being a "reborn martian pilot" (he's now in late teens or early twenties I think) which his mom believes because he has a huge fascination with space and apparently knows a suspicious amount about it, but there's nothing to prove he's not just a very gifted child. 4. Charles Darwin didn't really eat the animals for science, he was just a huge fanatic for exotic meat. He basically would eat any animal he hadn't had before, not just animals he caught. But he definitely did eat them. Apparently his favorite was a large rat of some sort. 5. A man named Joseph Figlock did catch two babies from windows a year apart, BUT they were different babies, different houses, and both him and the babies were injured. 6. The Belmez faces are real and there's a lot of cool articles and videos on them to check out if you're interested! 7. The alligator thing is real as well! A man named Tommie Woodward went to swim in a marina next to a restaurant and was begged to stop by staff, but he refused. There was a sign warning him of alligator attacks, but he ignored that too. During his swim, he suffered severe trauma from a bite and died before he was found later. 8. A Jamaican beach actually was stolen surprisingly. Coral Springs was a beach known for its white sand and thieves arrived with trucks and basically took the whole beach with them. You can read about it on the wikipedia page for "sand theft." 9. The electric chair was made by a dentist, but he was also a lot of other things, so it's kind of misleading. He worked as an engineer, steamboat mechanic, professor and inventor during his lifetime. He created it as a more humane way to euthanize dogs, but eventually turned it into a device for capital punishment. 10. A newspaper did a database search of both the country and the entire world and found no baby with the name Jaynou Oliver Beck, however a woman named Lynda Jenifer claims that she is related to a baby born on September 12th with the same name to parents who were unaware of the "time traveler's" claims. Hm. Gonna guess BS on that one. 11. Yeah the alien thing is BS sadly. Aldrin saw a "shiny" thing out the window of the spaceship that he got spooked by, but he then realized it was just sun's reflection. He referenced it on Reddit and conspiracy theorists jumped on it, despite him never claiming to have seen any kind of alien. EDIT: haha thanks guys but dont worry!! I finished my paper right after !! And also it didn’t take much time to do this , maybe a half hour or so? I knew a lot of them already and the other ones were pretty easy to find on wikipedia! :)

Short version for everyone wondering: 1.) In Spain and countries influenced by the Spanish (like in Latin America) it's not really a given that women change their last name to their husband's. In addition, children often take the last name of both their parents. Fun fact about different cultures, I guess. 2.) The story is true in that it's a real story. Whether or not the events happened as the family claims isn't really known, but if it's a hoax it's at least a relatively good one.
