Nice video Danny thanks for sharing. I wouldn't worry about the odd fish flashing as it may just be nothing other than the fish has an itch! If they are constantly flashing then that's another matter. Be good to see your ashp install. What ashp are you getting?
@dannycurrie13 жыл бұрын
I've been keeping an eye on them, see the odd flash but definitely not constant. That last clip was the day I turned the heat pump on, temps had been brought up 2 degrees so could have caused it to flash. hi mate iv subbed to your channel and iv been watching your videos, I'm new to all this koi ponds and stuff and just finished my raised wooden pond its 9ft long 5ft wide and deepest in middle is 4ft any idea on what filter i would need to run it pls,,, im thinking if a retrofit bottom drain would be good to run or just a pump. any advise would be appreciated thanks mate
@dannycurrie13 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. It can be a minefield finding filtration. A proper bottom drain and gravity fed filter is the way to go. If you can do that then a retro fit drain is the next best option. I'd suggest looking at a second hand nexus 220. And easy pod would do it if your not too heavily stocked. My old pond was a similar size to yours, I had a pod, was great for mechanical but not enough for bio. If you've got money to spend then look at the base compact m drum. Brilliant bit of kit and you can get them pump fed
