This movie is an underrated comedy masterpiece. Dark, disturbing, bizarre, hilarious. This scene is the stuff of nightmares, and Dan Aykroyd's performance is phenomenal.

I disagree, this movie is a completely overrated flop. Light, peaceful, normal, humorless. This scene is the stuff of dreams. Dan Aykroyds performance was dismal.

@@wizzaking, it's not really that original of a line. Alot of people hosting a get together or bbq and say "go ahead there folks, go fix yourself up a couple of dogs" to the guests and they'd not see anything unusual about saying that, and would not assume that they're quoting a line from a movie. Not unless they really knew this one, which alot of people haven't. Even then, they may not think they're quoting anything because it's a pretty regular normal kind of thing to say when having made hotdogs for your guests.

This is really one of those movies that only those who like me have a twisted and odd sense of humour, and there in lies the issue most had with it....it's essentially a high budget cult film that mistakenly got marketed towards a mainstream who had no idea what to make of it. However there are those like myself who enjoy cinematic oddities who can really appreciate it for what it was.

me too!!!! I'm from Chile and I think the same shit!
