Where I live now. Out on a ton of land beginning at my back yard. Even deer and turkey walk through to my front yard. IMO the greater the isolation, the greater the creep factor. Listening to this just doesn't help ease my imagination, that's for sure!

Just a public service announcement: if you hear what sounds like a young woman, or child giggling in the woods at night, DO NOT APPROACH. That is the sound a fisher (vicious, weasel-like creature that mainly preys on porcupines) makes after a kill. It is not a ghost. It is not paranormal. Stay safe, guys (:

It may be the middle of summer, but hearing you read these stories takes me back to when I first found your channel several years back. Those crisp autumn evenings and cool winter nights where I could just come in after a busy day, curl up in bed under a mound of blankets and listen to these chilling tales. You really know how to simultaneously relax and terrify, Darkness.

@@jonathanbanks8665 Sounds like a personal problem. One would think in the modern innovative world we live in that people would've heard of a little thing called air conditioning or toilet paper for that matter. Plus in this educated and advanced era in which we live acceptance of an individual's bed time habits would be a small thing in passing compared to the other major concessions one has to make in one's life for the sake of a semi-tolerant society.

I’ve seen the lantern associated with the Spector who wields it while I was in the woods of a very remote area where my cousins and few of my buddies went wilderness camping one time. It was so strange and so unnerving that at first I didn’t know what I was looking at. It wasn’t until the sway and the light of the lantern was moving closer and closer to where We were. I was the only person who was up when the glow of the lantern was breaking through the tree line near our camp site. To this day I never could quite tell if I saw the figure holding that damn lantern. It was a very spooky experience to say the least and I’ll never forget it.

I doubt it was true. He said his father didn't work and forced his mom and aunt to work, but he was working during that time in the story. Doesn't make sense at all. Also his father being a terror had nothing to do with the actual story so I don't see why that was necessary to add at all.

Just want to share something. I remember when I was almost kidnapped back in around 2016/2017 when I was around 14 years old. I was walking back home from extra class when a young man approached me (he's around 20 years old). He told me that there's this "thief" in the nearby park (probably around 5 minutes walk from my house). He said that the thief stole something from him. Then his friend came with a motorcycle. They have a brief signaling. He told me to come with him. Me refused and ran away to my home because it's only a block away now. I expect them to follow me but no. They took off. I told my mother and grandmother, and they told me to be careful. Luckily I never see them again. What disturbs me is that I refuse them not because of the red flags, but simply because I'm lazy and my poor social skills. God knows what would happened if I follow those men.

While in the rurals/wilds of the philippines always say tabi tabi Po, even if just stopping off on the side . A lot of elementals live inside the trees, rocks and mounds . Don't want to make them angry (Nuno sa punso/duwends) O also turn your clothes Inside out.

That's true in Mexico the gulf coast in the dense brush when u walk in the Mts old ppl say to turn ur shirts inside out. Bc the bush "entities" will loose you in the deep brush and you will never find ur way home. These "beings" are short little ones. That's the legend. Soo many things happen out there u can't explain. 👍

Oh yes I know that type of "donor" it brought three of the four of her kids I had to take care of, and her oldest is just like the donor he works at doing nothing, but to my surprise there is a lot more of those like you work and they think of ways to get more freebies at someone else's expense. after thy broke up that all she would be attracted to, except for one and then took all the anger out on him, like child support with no or barely visitation, I seen where a guy dropped tons of pennies on the ex's lawn I was thinking oh you are one of those like my sister, all money no visits yeah I don't feel bad for you I had a greedy sister so please don't tell me you're the victim.

Okay so if Sasquatch does exist🤷‍♀️really dont know what to think on that as I think there is so much that exists that we dont know bout, but that story where the father and child went in search of said Sasquatch, why do ppl have to mess with what is none of their business, leave it alone. Reminds me of mean children or adults poking a poor abused Animal with a stick or worse, taunting it. To bad Sasquatch didn't get them and trap them forever, would have served them right.

Eh. Not as good. Heard giggles in Philippines stories. Rest were snoozers or just the working stories were more entertaining
