“There’s always two sides to every story,” is how Darrell Brooks, the accused Waukesha, Wisconsin, Christmas parade attacker began his opening statement on Thursday. He did not offer an indication of his defense, and broke down in tears during the roughly 10-minute speech.

Narcissists can turn the waterworks on and off on a dime. I watched it happen in my family. The tears come from frustration that they have been confronted with something they did and refusal to take complete accountability for their role. They have their own warped sense of personality and will lie to anyone in an attempt to hide the fact that they are guilty of what they're being accused of.

But nope she allows him to mouth off for hours! Worried about an appeal is she? Why? Dies she get front row seats at the Packers game if she doesn’t get an appeal? She’s risking him walking!! One juror can think he wasn’t allowed to speak ; or HIs first amendment rights… that is the latest buzz word today. But one juror sees the judge granting him excuses so why can’t they? That my friends is what she us allowing to happen. He should be thrown out the second he starts. He knows the rules yet he brakes them and like a child who’s never punished he continues bc she doesn’t follow through ever . I have encountered many narcissists as a social worker and unfortunately for the victims but fortunately for the court proceedings, his performance is text book. I've seen grown narcisistic men and women cry like this when they get cornered with their crimes/faults and run circles around their own words that are really just nonesense but make them feel above everyone. The small wins he gets for his sustained objections are like winning the lottery to him, causing him to feel like he can't lose. It is simply insulting and I wish, especially now-a-days with tons of research from past/recent legal and non legal clinical experiments and historical behavioural studies, etc that NPD could be proven as to be a major concern and have legal grounds for dismissing his defense. This man's history alone should be enough indication, prior to this event, that he had potential to be a threat to society.

He is not a narcissists ... let me be clear ... we have lost sight of one word that fit his character. We have associated this word with race but it has nothing to do with race, religion or gender he's not mentally disturbed, he is deliberate in every thing he does he is was racist call the N-word but it has nothing to do with race. Its about character to destroy people around him and blame his victims for his short-comings. The he has no end game he is like an insect, a pest that carry a disease and if not handled, the disease spreads. The N-word has always ne attributed to race and people of color but it actually applies to all races of people. Its those people who make decisions and blame others when it doesn't go their way ... He claim to be a sovereign citizen ... a sovereign citizen means he is not responsible for what he does even if he kills some one and that the particular county does not have jurisdiction over him. He would be right is he was being tried in another county but he is being tried in the same county he committed the murders so he is not sovereign. Just saying he's a sovereign citizen is proof he's a N-word ... lets not make excuses the next time the n-word is used think of Darrell Brooks ... now this was disaster in the making since 1999 judges passed over Brooks letting him go free even a reduced bail from 10,000 to 500 in this case. Society created Brooks .... what happens when you don't take care of pest, they spread and Brooks have been a N-word for all those years and no one gave a damn.

Notice that, while he is talking a lot about 'two sides to the story", "and there has been a lot of sufering" etc, he has not said a single word that actually goes to his defense. I suspect he is just going to keep on 'appealing to the jury" about how "the power is in their hands" and other waffle, instead of telling us specifically why he is not guilty of the crimes he clearly committed.

@@Anninukichild he’s removed from the trial, which halts it because he’s his own defense. He may be planning to delay indefinitely and then attempt to say his constitutional right to a speedy trial was delayed. Or he may be planning to be held in contempt so he can have more time to mount his defense. His bail is $5 million USD and everybody hates his guts. If he can’t pay, he can’t leave jail while on trial. He doesn’t face the death penalty, and this is a nearly guaranteed case, not helped by his court conduct. If he gets convicted on even one count of murder, due to his previous felonies he faces life in jail without possibility of parole. He will spend the rest of his life in jail, and everybody can see that. His delay serves no purpose except to prolong the suffering of the families. Maybe he’s exercising this as his last form of abusive power over someone before he gets locked up in super ax solitary forever? I’m not him, it’s impossible to know. I think his plan to be held in contempt of court so he has more time to mount a defense is probably what’s happening here, combined with impotent rage at the judge and prosecution.

Nobody else in Waukesha was driving through that street at that time. One might make a mistake accidentally driving down a one way street, but nobody can mistake police cars and police barricades and people walking across the street and standing in it and marching in it. He talks a lot when he has someone to quibble with, but on his own, when he has the floor? He's pretty quiet. Interesting. It only means he's INNOCENT! And must be cleared of all charges. The court has not proven jurisdiction and the prosecutors have tried to railroad him time after time. Set this man free already. He's suffered enough. Oh, but watch out now, this court appearance has only given him experience. Now watch him run circles around you in civil court when he puts the judge and prosecutor on trial. Gotta love this man!

I ob-jek to these tears! I certainly hope in his closing statement that the victims and the Judge get the apology that they deserve.

Me too! I highly doubt it though. I can't figure out if he is doing all this as a 'last hurrah' or bc he has hopes of the court effing up so he has things to complain about on appeal? Either way I hope he rots! Love your channel btw! 💜

Look at his face. Don't you think there should be tears rolling down his face, if he was really crying? What a pathetic human being. He should see all the tears being cried by the families of the six people he killed and injured on 11-21-2021. Those are REAL tears.
