the reason Kyle is so good at parkour is because he's GRE. he can't tell them, so he acts like it just comes natural to him. Rahim even says to him something along the lines of "wow, you're a natural. you'd think you've done this before", which is the game hinting to the fact that he learned this in his training to become an agent. i found it important to address this xD

They have a window so you can see if the elevator is on the floor and the door is locked when the elevator isn't on the floor, only unlocking after the elevator's come to a complete stop.

They are only affected by the constant UV from the sun since it reduces the presence of the virus in the body and the night lights dont have a huge impact considering the low amount of the virus they have anyways. The sun does, however, cause them to move slower in the day than it does at night. As for the mutated, only HIGHLY mutated infected (Volatiles) take damage from the sun, thus they only come out at night. The other mutations roam about freely both in the day and at night.

4+ sins for Dying Light: 1) Despite being infected, Kyle is only injected with Antizin _twice_ for the whole game to suppress the virus. 2) The sequences in that "arena" and museum where you are disarmed, forced to fight with lame weapons with barely any med kits. Fuck them, +2 sins. 3) The escape sequnce from "arena" where everyone shoots at you. Fuck hard that part too.

The normal zombies you run into the streets doesn't get damaged by the uv because the decay has left only a small part of the brain intact for the virus to control. and the UV can't penetrate skull. This would also mean that those Harran zombies would die because of the decay quite fast. The ones that get damaged are the ones mutated in ways that the body parts covered in the virus are more exposed.

He didn't mention some other stuff, like how did Rais and his crew just teleport near Crane in the basement when the lights went off. Crane has a fukin flashlight and night vision potions, in reality he would bounce behind some cover instead of waiting for the lights to turn on. Due to his horrible and lazy sinning, i shall explain all the wrongfully convicted sins in this video: -though i do agree that the GRE’s cover for the file was a horrible cover story, remember that they were really just trying to hide what was really in the file -when kyle was in the room when he was woken up by the kids, he was given enough antizin to keep him stable for the time he was asleep -nobody knew how many zombies were on the 13th floor, or if Mark was even still alive, hence why no one went after him -go through the comment section for a shit ton of comments explaining how the hinged elevator door actually works -Crane wasn’t immediately a “Pro” at parkour after rahim’s lesson, rahim just thought him the basics, and it was completely up to him on how to improve his free running skill outside -Rahim did not expect Crane to have his first seizure at the exact moment he was on the Crane, he knew it was coming but thought it was still far off since they gave him a shot of antizin recently and it kept him stable the whole time he was out cold -as many people in the comment have already said, Kyle referred to the antizin as a vaccine to hide his identity -the reason the way the virus works is different from rabies is because it’s a VARIATION of rabies, implying that the incubation period, symptoms, etc. of the virus would differ from your typical rabies strain. -I highly doubt the outside world would have a chance to study the virus properly to find out that it’s a variation of rabies, or even find out that they may be closer to a cure than they might think, since they’d have to send in a team to acquire infected tissue, which could risk bringing the virus outside the walls, not to mention that someone from the team could get bitten and hide it from everyone, or desperate survivors would kill the team for supplies, making the mission a waste of resources -UV light only harms the zombies that roam EXCLUSIVELY at night, meaning biters and virals are immune to UV, and the nocturnals hide during the day -The GRE has NO CONTROL over who gets their drops, the fact that rais was getting them all doesn’t mean they were helping him, since once the drop hits the ground, it’s basically anyone’s game -The protection money that Rais is extorting from the villages is for protection from HIS OWN GANG, and the occasional zombies that get in (like at the fishing village) but the settlements are protected enough that protecting them from zombies isn’t exactly necessary -“Brecken, wanted to save as many lives as possible”...keep that in mind before saying that one zombie isn’t a big deal in the tower, Brecken was trying to keep casualties down, which caused them to lose control of the situation and cause the outbreak, and keep in mind that there aren’t a lot of armed guards in the tower, most are on the first floor, and the rest are guarding the elevator on the 19th -The plastic explosives were military, not GRE -Jade didn’t tell Kyle to keep the explosives from rahim, she told him to keep rahim from messing with the explosives, keeping the bombs away from rahim and rahim away from the bombs are two different things -Kyle didn’t entrust the explosives to rahim, he trusted him to not touch the bombs and to let Kyle be the one to blow the nest -You’re wrong about the file being rais’ only bargaining chip with the GRE, he didn’t just publish it to prove a point to crane, but also because now that the GRE’s true intentions are out, he has Zere’s research which can help them convince the world that what was in the file was false, the research is rais’ second bargaining chip -Karim knew the risks of sending kyle’s stuff to him, but he decided to do it anyway since he wants to help kyle at any cost -the saviors probably waited to tell kyle about the betrayal because they wanted him to get past the zombies first, and to make sure that the moment he got the call that he was being sold out, it would be too late to turn back (keep in mind, he slides down a sewer pipe while getting the call, which is the only way he can possibly use to get back, but it’s impossible to climb out of a slippery diagonal pipe -it is true that the fire will eventually spread, but the plan wasn’t exactly meant to be long term, since something like that will be on the news the moment someone sees it, and given that it’s literal fires on a tall-ass building, it would be hard to miss -Rais only captured jade because he wanted to piss kyle off as much as possible, true it would have been easier to ambush them both in the building, but 1) the two of them combined can over power whatever force he sends there easily 2) he wanted to make sure kyle was alone, and up against every soldier he has at his disposal, hence why he sends him to the museum after jade and 3) he just wanted to mess with kyle’s mind and try his best to break him before killing him -Crane isn’t exactly taken by surprise at the museum, since it was clearly not a trap, but rather a try at provoking kyle, and since the museum was rais’ biggest outpost, he wouldn’t be surprised if there was a shitload of soldiers there -actually, rais put in armed soldiers with crane at the museum, not zombies, meaning it would be much harder for Crane to survive, so it wasn’t the same as the pit at all -it’s true that the GRE didn’t think that Zere’s research would amount to anything and that they wouldn’t know whether rais actually had the research, but now that their true intentions are out, they’ll take all the opportunities they can get to convince the world that they had been working toward a cure the whole time -Regarding the Antizin choice, remember, rais is just trying to get under kyle’s skin and fuck with his mind as much as possible -Rais didn’t drop Zere’s research, he dropped the bolter samples -the pilots weren’t the ones who called off the carpet bombing, they were ordered to abort -of course the GRE would have a better chance at creating a cure, but as mentioned WAAAAY earlier in the game, they don’t want to, Kyle only kept it so that nobody would try to carpet bomb harran since bombing the city means destroying the one thing that can be used to synthesize a cure and ultimately keep an entire city from being levelled

LOL! A little bit of context: this specific elevator hinged door is very typical for high buildings from the 70's in Poland. They have a mechanism that prevents the door from opening if the elevator is on the other floor :-) So no danger there. But these elevators were notoriously known for getting stuck between floors. The mechanism successfully prevented people from getting off and there was no emergency button to call for help. I grew up using them and they scared the living shit out of me. People used to get stuck in them for hours. Fun times!

I'd say Rais is so fixated at Crane, because he's from the GRE. Crane was sent to Harran because of Rais in the first place. To me it seems, that Rais was always suspicious about this super-guy, who suddenly showed up out of the blue. Rais probably suspected Crane to be an agent all the time. The more successful Crane was, the more Rais could guess, that this guy wasn't just some random tourist, who got stuck in Harran.
