Great ideas! I learned some things today: 1. Curtains over shades creates a layered look. 2. Mixing old and new doesn't put you in a trend, which keeps the look timeless. Thank you for sharing!

Current vs. trends. I like that. I find that keeping things simple helps me to achieve "current" home decor and even clothes.

Love Timeless vs. Trendy. I have always tried to go a more timeless route when designing my spaces as I can't afford to keep re-designing my spaces if I were to go trendy! ;p (I'm not a professional, but rather a very passionate enthusiast!). Thanks for the tips! They were all in line with my design conceptualization :)

Hey there! So, I've been binge-watching your videos lately, and I was hoping you could help me out with something. I've got this open-layout living room and dining room area that's shaped like a rectangle, with one long wall. I'm totally lost when it comes to decorating it. I think my style is kinda Scandinavian modern, with a natural, warm, and cozy vibe. I know it's a lot to take in, but I'm just looking for some inspo. I'm drowning in ideas and can't seem to focus on anything.
