Dang, I need to keep in mind the thing about not dating someone if I wouldn't want to be them. That's really great advice. All of this was great advice.

You blind, woman??? This guy travelled HALF THE WORLD for you! No doubt you have breakdowns, you deal with your life with so many "friends" while in the mean time you are all ALONE. Just give this guy a chance! Risk it!

Dating once a month is kinda crazy. I'm doing that now, but it's not by choice. I think once a week is what works best for most people.

I am only at 31 in and what the fuck. How is seeing someone once a month a relationship? What is the point of dating if you don't want to see them often. At first, once or twice a weeks is good, but when start getting serious once a week would not work for me.

You don’t need to see a person to love them just like you don’t need to see God to love him. Be close God Amen ❤️

Sry to say, but many things that are said here are very toxic mindsets for a relationship to begin with. The point of a relationship is to become husband and wife and create with each other so you become one flesh. Creation lies therefore in intimacy through vulnerability, having children and creating a future for others together in the love you give for each other through the pain and suffering you experience. Oh and never confuse intimacy with sex. We did not have the pill many years ago but with that people lost the meaning and purpose of family. Anyways, if you really want a relationship that lasts you have to get the relationship with yourself to god straight. You know if it is straight, when you experience difficult or stressful situations in the every day experiences and still have an undescrible peace in you that gives you comfort and calmness. That, therefore, means to stop with this "I" and "me" mindset and instead start with the "we" mindset and deny yourself every day and instead do a virtue. I had to learn this the hard way, because there is no other way and you will become old like me (30) at some point and have to make changes like stop doing one of the 7 deadly sins like lust, vanity, greed, sloth, etc. You can look all of them up and compare them with todays society.
