Being Mexican Italian I can relate to some of these things and having a woman pay is a big No. And even if she offers to make Lunch or Dinner you must bring something with you to show her appreciation like her favorite Wine to go with the dinner or anything you know she likes. Oh and I’m no mammas boy lol In Mexico we show ultimate respect to our mothers but we’re not grabbed onto them emotionally like for everything that I need mama for this and mama for that. Nope not here

Im from Italy and I personally enjoy to date foreign women. I like different cultures as I lived abroad for many years. What I cannot stand is the cliche vision of dolce far niente (I think only foreigner think this happens...) and other stupid cliches about Italy. I also value indipendence which means you can also pay the dinner to me. I noticed when people brag to be VERY indipendent then...when is about financial convenience magically this fades away..

After working (or trying to work, I should say) with Italians, I would say that dolce far niente is not a cliché at all. I can't imagine what it would be like to date an Italian girl.

That's actually so funny. I grew up in Austria and I know many Italians and I have been there quite often. On an exchange programme in High School, I realised that Italian schools give a lot more homework and exams are a lot more difficult than here. Same with university students who came from Italy to Austria on exchange programmes. Compared to Austrians, Italian students seem to be a LOT more diligent, and I wouldn't surprised if that's also the case at the workplace. I love Italy a lot but not once have I encountered "dolce far niente". But I've mostly met people from the North, so I have no idea how it's in the South.

I remember when I was a student at the university of Florence and the foreigner women were the only hope of Italian men for some “action” with ladies, because the average Italian lady “se la tira”. The most loved were the American ladies, with us Italian guys buzzing around them as “flies around fresh shit”. I myself Albanian born/ Italian raised since the age of 5 during university years I met a polish lady and I moved to Poland. The life of an Italian man abroad is much more interesting than in Italy, when it concerns dating!

Ne parlavamo spesso prima di accasarci tutti con ragazze polacche. Sessualmente parlando, l' Italia è come la turchia, un paese molto conservatore. Ironia della sorte le italiane di Polonia pur di non restare sole (i connazionali per ovvi motivi preferiscono le bellezze locali, ndr) si fidanzano con ghanesi, Turchi, azeri, etc, nazionalita' che in italia nemmeno prenderebbero sul serio. Good excelent video. It's been likie before the turn of the century and I had a friend of mine who went there by herself. Her smile was bigger than the room. A teacher of mine (married) said German girls save to go to Italy on girls only vacation. No need to learn Italian. And long time ago (before AIDS) my history teacher told the class that when travelling there, there was Religious education in some Italian monasteries and churches (or that I understood) and the guys would be outside just waiting them finish class. The girls travelled on their families money to learn of religion and churches but after class...

Ti capisco. Sono nato in Oregon da mio padre italiano e mia madre sudafricana, e ho potuto sfruttare il doppio passaporto per tornare negli states da grande (adesso ho 34 anni). Ero single allora nel 2018 e approcciarsi con mentalità non dico italiana, nemmeno, europeoa, ma anche largamente anglosassone nel concetto più ampio della definizione Commonwealth é stato comunque un colpo al cuore. La qualità culturale e così bassa da far male. Ed io uscivo con ragazze nel pieno del loro percorso universitario fatto di master phd e cazzi e mazzi che a loro piacciono tanto. Conclusione: livello generale culturale basso come la barista drop out di Starbucks con le tette finte e la fissa per Taylor Swift. Meno male che ho conosciuto mia moglie la, di origini indiane ma nata e cresciuta a Londra, dove ora vivo.

great video as always, italy seems like a beautiful place! Will there also be italian women version? People mostly talk about Italian man but their women seems more interesting(and better looking imo). I didn't really like the things i heard from this video like the dates of Mexican woman. That's why i would rather pay for myself lol, i would really get heartbroken(and angry) if i was in her case. Same with Russian woman, it just seems like a nightmare. because it's a cultural expectation that men will pay for the dates and that is the standard in Mexico and Russia, or dare I say Eastern Europe that is the expectation of men a nd women when dating. I mean I get the frustration for some situations and yes women should pay at times but you can't change some cultures and it can be very hard to change that concept for some.

Im from Italy and I also dont understand this. What I can tell you in total sincerity is that people in Italy are good looking. I think there is positive vision about Italian culture, sometimes way too much like a fetish (dolce far niente AHAH such bullshit. There is no dolce far niente in Italy AHAH). Maybe all these factors plus the country itself is beatiful create this idea (again made up by foreigners) that italian people are perfect or whatever. I think reality is different. I think once foreigners live in Italy (hopefully) after couple of years understand the reality a bit.

Where I grow up (Sicily) I noticed the less serious you are more relationship or interaction you would have. I think italian women are spoiled in this so they want the vibe of the "stronzo" and then....after their 30s magically return to "bravo ragazzo". The problem is bravo ragazzo is sick of this bullshit ahah. Also another trait of italian women: to not be ambitious, stay at home or in their little town, dont even speak English. There is. Men are supposed to prove that they’re really into a girl so she knows she can trust him enough to have sex with him. Sex is a major risk for women. It is not for men. 4:20 is not that we are always late but is that 10 seconds magically become 2 minuts every time we have to go out and we don't know why, also just for let you know we prepare probably 10/20/30/40 minuts before go out depending by what we have to do (the women even 1 hour or more on saturday night) so we actually put effort for being just that 5 minuts late or it would be more late

That's ok to pay 50/50 when you are students. After you want to see that the man invests into the relationship and pays for you dinner ( a lower possibility that he has multiple dates with foreign women from tinder). I am a Russian woman with an Italian man. I love that he gives me flowers and love cards. He is romantic and protective. I also love his family and talk to his mom a lot. Our cultures are very similar. He is the most handsome man I have ever seen and very affectionate and thoughtful.
