Bowie's voice aged like an fine wine. Every decade made it smoother and more enjoyable.

Bowie changed all those suburban kids, who wondered if there was anything out there like they felt and then we found Bowie and we were at the centre of it.

As always, the incomparable genius of David Bowie, no matter how much he ch ch changes on the outside, he's always the same gentle soul who shines so brightly that he can make the darkness light, make our hearts a little lighter and touch us with his happiness. Thanks for posting this Fiorella, whenever I'm feeling down just listening to David's sweet voice always makes me feel better.

Sublime! The brightest Star of my lifetime just shining!It is hard to explain the 'Changes' we have had to evolve through over the past 60 years or so! Bowie not only piloted many of us through so many, he created some personally! Most importantly he made it impossible to just plod on with the obsolete conventions of the late 20th Century without having to come to terms with so much hypocrisy, especially with regard to Gender Roles,Sex and Sexuality.Not many use their gifts so well or leave their Society changed so positively!

@Scoobydoonut Thank you, Lady. Light is already inside those who have conquired it through the trials of life. And consciousness turns clearer in connection with others that are similar, giving a more intense joy, that makes us good. The Music of David can do this magic.

How could anyone not like this song? Even ISIS would stop shooting women and children long enough to get through at least a couple of choruses.

Can’t help but see Alex from Artic Monkeys in David maybe he was an influence on him, Bowie will never die 1 of those quintessential people that evolved music hence my dog named Bowie but she’s a girl 😂

I saw this whole show and all the songs were requested by the fans and I don't believe he did Space Oddity, is there a reason for this. At some point did he stop doing it live? Because I cant believe someone wouldn't have requested that song. Just curious.

+Chris J i do agree with you. Bowie had so many songs, the band can't pratice/perform them all. so i think the songs that they played were scheduled in that order and the people that called in and spoke with Bowie were chosen based on the next song.
@신준영Shin2 жыл бұрын
He didn't perform Space Oddity after 1990; only performed it on special occasion after, like birthday concert(1997) or charity concert for tibet(2002).

Also, whats up with the headphones? Were they like an in ear monitor or what and if so why not just have an in ear monitor instead?
@georgiethumbs24389 жыл бұрын
+Chris J - He could have tinnitus and wearing ear plugs can exacerbate it. I got tinnitus bad, and if I wear ear plug headphones even once and listen to a song it can take weeks before it goes away. Actually it never goes away, my brain just learns to ignore it after a while. I use to play in a band with a moron for a drummer who would play as loud as he possibly could and I was right by his crash cymbals and it pretty much destroyed my hearing at a certain frequency. Like if you ever hear crickets at night, I can't hear them out of my left ear because whatever frequency they chirp at is the frequency I'm deaf, so to compensate my brain has created a phantom frequency which I hear constantly, it really sucks.
