Hy Leslye we all miss him.and the replacement is in the way. Not a man but evenly charming, a girl, just 17, soon to be 18 She is in the spotlight since 2016, when she singlehandedly blow away all the other contestants on AGT, and being only 12 that time. Of course she won. She is more like a poet, just like David was. Eccentric, fearless, badass, and can write a song in seconds, even does on live streaming. Her name is Grace Vanderwaal. Her last two songs she appeared for me like I was dreaming, and watching David in his younger years. Not his appearance, but everything she does, writing the music dictate the ways she like what to wear, how to make the video, which shows how multitalented she is.Look her up if you didn’t do it yet!!!!!

+Stephen Bowyer PLEASE don't interfere with our deep grieving process, of a GREAT man! By trying to suggest some ABSURD Conspiracy Theory, that Bowie isn't really DIED! He just decided to 'Drop-Out' of this society, & is alive, & in hiding. I reed another idiot, on another site, attempting that same exact thing. I will NOT be able to contain myself with people who do this. I have had a most difficult time adjusting to David Bowie's death. I didn't know him personally, but I'd LOVED him for 40 yrs of mylife, & his 'Passing' has effected me deeply. Could be that my older brother who took me to see David Bowie,(the 1st time), when I was 15 yrs old, in Dallas. Was killed in a car accident, in Ft Worth, 2 months ago! I got out of that STATE after a Drunk Driver hit me,(he died, instead of me), when I was 19 yrs old, & NEVER went back.(well, to visit my family) There's enough REAL SHIT, in this ROTTEN world to cope with, without making up some FANTASY, to confuse people, & give them FALSE hope!
@stephenbowyer72698 жыл бұрын

+Stephen Bowyer THANK YOU, for your sincere condolences. I apologize for misinterpreting your comments. Plus, your correct it wasn't directed to me. Even I forget that when I write something HERE, its open to PUBLIC interruption. That is neither here nor there, & I overreacted needless to say. I am not sure why I did that?? I do know if YOU were a typical person, who would've responded back with insults, & profanity, I wouldn't have been able to reevaluate MYSELF. There's a lesson for the kids!

Gail Ann Dorsey (born November 20, 1962) is an American musician. With a distinguished career as a session musician, she is perhaps best known for her longtime residency in David Bowie's band, from 1995 to Bowie's death in 2016. Aside from playing bass, she occasionally has sung lead vocals according to Bowie's introduction on A Reality Tour, on "Under Pressure", and duetted with him on others, including "The London Boys", "Aladdin Sane (1913-1938-197?)", "I Dig Everything", accompanying Bowie on clarinet, and a cover of Laurie Anderson's "O Superman". From 1993 to 1996, Dorsey also recorded and toured extensively with Tears for Fears, and collaborated on songwriting within the band. She appeared in several of the band's promo videos throughout this period. Her diverse range of work includes performances and/or recordings with, among others, David Bowie, Lenny Kravitz, Bryan Ferry, Boy George, the Indigo Girls, Khaled, Jane Siberry, The The, Skin, Gwen Stefani, Charlie Watts, Seal, Gang of Four, Susan Werner, ahi difranco and Dar Williams. In addition, Dorsey has released three solo albums: The Corporate World (1988), Rude Blue (1992), and I Used To Be... (2003).

@todzzzzz6 жыл бұрын
Version good but in NO WAY is it better than the studio or this live version (see link). The chunking rhythm guitar is so loud it turns this version into a semi-metal version of China Girl. Listen to the live version link I posted... you hear the subtle tasty guitar parts in this version! Not sure if the guitarist ruined it or the sound man did? Anyhoo, it's not a metal chord pedalling song! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5TMqoyKj5d1aZo It's still Bowie and awesome....only the rhythm guitar makes it a far different version of the original song.

He had the looks of a teen idol, the voice of a dream, the musicianship of a master, and the cool charisma of no one before him. He could sing a duet with Bing Crosby or Iggy Pop and look equally cool. More attractive than the females in his videos and influenced generations of superstars in their own right. He challenged MTV at the height of their power for a lack of diversity, opening up doors for so many artists after him. Gender-bending, image-shifting, persona-creating, he helped create the template for all the video artists of the 80s, and then came back and showed them how it was done. A unique artist.

+Rasmus Anthin (razterizer) Yes, in addition to all his artistic accomplishment, global impact and influence, his music and life affected people on a very personal and emotional level...it was always about the human condition, the good, the bad and the ugly....through every innovation he showed us where society was refracted through his themes and journeys.He wasn't merely a pioneering talent, but a courageous artist and human being, a great mentor to people from every walk of life, as well as in the creative arts. He inspired people to be themselves, and celebrate their diversity, live their lives to the fullest and never stop going forward and evolving, regardless of how big the struggle....
