The condescension in this "drama" could be cut with a knife. When the kids start defending their phone use, "we haven't done anything bad", clues you in to how so many jw parents are so strict and tend to accuse their kids of bad intentions. Those kids were panicked.

So true. I’m also reminded of the birthday cupcake video with Caleb where he comes home and has a full emotional meltdown about Jehovah possible rejecting him as a friend. It’s supposed to be this heartwarming example of the Dad reassuring him, but it’s like really they are actually revealing the way that JW kids experience extreme emotional pressure to make Jehovah happy and if you didn’t lay that on their shoulders, there would be no meltdown to begin with.

Really hope you don't mind me saying this, but I really feel you're getting back to your best with these videos. There were a few videos where it was a bit too much banter with your guests etc and they went on quite long. But the ones where you prepare a commentary I think are your best, and this one was good because you kept it to just really interesting short points. That is just supposed to be constructive feedback, don't take offence, I know a lot goes into them. I just enjoy these a lot more.
