I recently discovered your account and the way you talk is incredible. There was no cuts, no fancy music and edits as an intro. I mean it was so good that I couldn't leave without saying anything about it. By the way, I admired your dedication. It is a challenge I would keep going to day 1. Nevertheless, I think we can all do little adjustments and try this challenge.

Firstly, thank you so much for this comment. I'm quite new to this, so receive this level of encouragement has made me quite emotional - it means more than you know and these words will definitely keep me motivated to keep making this content! Secondly, you're absolutely right, even if we don't do all these things every day, making the effort for ourselves will always make a difference! Have a great week my friend.

I am on day 75 of the 75 hard challenge and I just realized that I was not able to fill the potential of the challenge. I feel like I was missing the intention, the discipline outside of the challenge, the focus on myself. I did the challenge with a friend, and I am definitely healthier and physically in a better shape than before, but mentally not much has changed, and I think the problem is that I kinda let go of myself outside of the challenge. I was disciplined enough to go workout, but not to do all the other stuff that needed to be done. You just made me realize that I could have got more out of it if I was more intentional with the challenge, more reflective and maybe also more aware. Really appreciate your video, it has helped me see more clearly!

This video struck a cord for me. You seem to have approached this with a level of humility and compassion that is rare. Wellness spaces n influencers often have issues of false promises, intensity and such but this project of yours seems grounded. I've been in a rut for about 4-5 years now. I'll be 25 soon so i reckon we might have been in the same year at uni! I've tried the 3rd year of my course about 3 times now and i've either taken leave or failed due to mental illness. I've also hesitated connecting to circles of care and wellness due to fears of harshness, macho, rejection - family, friends, online spaces even. I've only just begun to connect now i'm living home for a bit. What you've done here is good i think. Thank you.

Thank you so much for commenting. It sounds like we are pretty much the same age, so I really feel like I'm talking to a friend here! I'm really sorry that you've had such a rough time of it in the last few years. I think one of the worst things that happens to us as adults is forgetting that any of us could have been in any circumstance and always could be, none of us is any better than another. I really struggled in my final year of uni especially, and was probably fortunate that we got extenuating circumstances because of the pandemic. I feel that I'm also really trying to be my best and find my place in the world and even in this wellness space, I would never call myself any kind of expert - I actually find it hard to talk about my life and experiences generally, but I believe even more that showing and sharing vulnerability can always be of help to someone, so I'm going to keep showing up. All that to say, I hear you and I'm rooting for you and thank you very much for saying something so kind to me. All the best my friend.

This is the first proper video I have watched on "75 hard" and I can't thank you enough for making me feel so motivated to try this. I believe in energies and I can feel the the positive vibes within you. Sorry for the long comment but this might just help me change my life around. I'll be trying my best to "keep showing up". I’m on day 3 of 75 hard and during my exercises I’m listening to other people who have done the challenge. Thank you for sharing your experience! One of the biggest reasons I’m doing this challenge is because I have a food addiction that has been out of control most of my life. This year I actually relapsed during a time or grief and gained 50 lbs in four months! I lost all sense of confidence and felt so shamed. This challenge is helping me take back control of my life and I plan to continue it at least until my birthday in November. One of the things that really made me excited is when you started reading your list of things to eat when you finished the challenge and it didn’t trigger me. I didn’t fantasize about any foods. I didn’t wish that there was something I could eat. I felt my resolve kick in and that was a major win for me. Thanks again for sharing!

Just a little fyi - a US gallon is different to a UK gallon - a UK one is 20% more - 4.6 litres and a U.S. gallon is 3.8 litres. Andy Frisella is from the US so a gallon of water in this challenge is a US gallon 3.8 litres 💙

I love the conclusion of the video. Beautiful. Iwill finish the challenge this sunday. That changed my life. I am now positive, in shape and I lost 13 pounds in the softess way ever. I eat a lot and ealthy and I loose weight because of the physical activity. I am changed. I found some sense to my life, I don't ever question myself about what I will do in the day, I never feel bored because I know where I go and that's meaningfull to me. I discovered salsa dancing, step and some aerobic routine that I love and do at home. I never do hard things, I have fun with sport and explore. All summer, I biked at sunset and I never saw that many rainbows and pink clouds. I walked under the sun and under the rain. I found a great joy in it. I plan to continue and restart again and again. I just feel like a child playing outside, enjoying nature, dancing. I stopped alcool and don't plan to drink again because this is useless, that takes my energy and I don't need it. I am richer because I do free activities and don't buy alcool. Walking is a meditation for me. My mood is so much better. I went to work after the summer break (I am a teacher) and people said to me: you are in great shape. They talked about sport without me mentionning sport. Not : you lost weight. I look like someone who do sport and that was not the case in June. That was my goal: to define myself as a sportive person. I highly recommend this challenge, but do what you love in it, don't be hard on yourself, be consistent.

I feel like we're kindred spirits in a way because I told my fiancé that I knew when I "made it" financially because I was able to treat myself to fresh berries each week for my breakfast. It was also rare to get them as a kid for me (they are expensive!) so it truly feels like a treat every day. It's such a small thing but it makes me so appreciative for where I am in life. Also I loved how you closed your eyes as you described sitting up against the radiator reading as a kid, as if you could imagine yourself again in that exact spot. I have the same type of memories. Reading as a child is such a special experience, it truly stays with you your whole life. Would love to hear more about the books you love!

the thing that really struck me was that you said you’ve attempted this challenge before but you didn’t say you failed it. it’s so encouraging just to have the reassurance that just because you haven’t completed the challenge on your first try doesn’t mean you’ve failed it completely; you can always try again. it speaks to me as someone who gives up on things easily if i feel like i’ve failed and it’s assuring to see someone who tried again until they got it.

Absolutely! Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone automatically puts you further than you were before, so even if that attempt doesn't make it to fruition, progress has ben made just by trying and you can absolutely try again!

I'm glad this video came up on my FYP. I've been making some changes, and 75 hard has been on my list of things to do. Currently trying to map the logistics of it to fit into my busy day so I can make it work, and the only thing that stops me will be me. The mental health space that you've grown in has me excited and is inspiring. I appreciate your realistic and honest approach to your detailing of the experience.

As someone who's never seen your channel before, this appeared when I search Hard 75, and I just watched the whole video and was amazed. I love this format, and how calm and well-toned you spoke of this challenge. No filler words like 'erms' or 'ahhs' which is very impressive. So inspiring to see the outcome of the challenge and what it's done. Great video, Sir.

Hi! I would just like to congratulate you on your achievements! And I want to thank you for your candour and amazing approach to this video/podcast. It's a very refreshing difference to a lot of other content being pushed now a days. I can tell you aren't doing it for views/commission/exposure/likes and that you are very genuine. You have inspired me to focus more mindfully on myself and to challenge myself to work on these little things for myself. Keep up the good work and keep posting on tiktok/KZbin! You are going to go far!

You got me from the start to the very end. I’ve recently switched job, and I have four days wfh, so I’m hitting the gym a lot more often. There are many things that I think I can take from the 75 Hard, although taking it full on is not something I feel ready to do yet. Finally, what you said at the end, that it’s mostly about showing up for ourselves … that’s something so important. I was kinda losing perspective as to why I was working out and eating health. All in all, amazing content, amazing video!

I've been wanting to start this for a while, you breaking it down definitely made it seem less scary. On Tik Tok I'd see people prepping for it which made it seem more intense. While it definitely is, it's both a change and challenge I'm willing to make for myself. This was amazing, thank you!

I loved your video, listening in from Australia!! It was really motivating, encouraging, raw and honest. I was moved by how candidly you spoke. I just downloaded the app and will start tomorrow with the challenge. Like many others have said you have a sincere and genuine approach to podcasting which is rare nowadays, keep it up. I read a few comments and seeing how you replied to them shows you're a bona fide individual; keep showing up for yourself everyday.

Wow God had me in mind when he created you :). Thank you for posting this video, 1.) Walking is SO UNDERRATED. When I started the 75 hard, I scheduled walking during my lunch breaks at work and I still walk during my breaks even though I didn't complete the 75 hard all the way. 2.) Drinking the gallon of water was the hardest because I found myself having headaches on my 3rd liter. 3.) I like your point that the progress photos improved your relationship with yourself. That's a beautiful triumph to reach with this rule. 4.) When you lose interest in reading it’s so interesting because you want to read but you lose that motivation and then when you start reading again, you don't want to put books down. Overall, it sounds like the 75 hard really made a positive change in your life which is amazing. Kudos to you for completing this challenge and thank you again for posting your experience. *New subbie*
