I am 79 years old and have Parkinson's several years now. I love you and your mom and thank goodness for your videos. I struggle with coordination but I am determined to keep at it and go at a comfortable pace so I don't fall. Thank you again for your videos.

I never did this challenge in 2022, because it seemed too ambitious for me at the time. I have now worked my way back up to 30-45 minutes of exercise a day (which I try to do 6 times a week and have managed to do at least 3 times a week for the past several weeks-- usually walking a lot on the days that I don't do an official workout). I tried this one today and even did almost the whole workout with 2-pound dumbbells (with the exception of warmup, cooldown, and modified jumping jacks, Aiko-style) so that I got a cardio and strength workout at the same time, and I feel great! I am going to try to complete the challenge, although I may not do all the challenge workouts in the same week. I'll try to make sure I leave a comment after I do each one. 🙂 P.S. I spotted the secret word! 😀

Yesterday I only got 4000 steps but today I was busy with vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms etc. I just decided to re do the Day 1 of New Year Challenge--30 minutes, 3000 steps. So far today I got 5000 steps and 2 miles . My back is not overjoyed with me but I am happy to achieve my goal today.

I'm so glad I found your channel! Your walks are gentle but effective. Doing 3 of your walking videos helped me reach my daily goal of 8k steps. I need to dust off my 1# weighted gloves. I think I'll wear them the next time I do a 30 minute walk. See you tomorrow!

So lovely to see a mother & daughter who both obviously love & respect each other. I am a senior & find these exercises exciting & invigorating! I bought a FitBit just after Xmas & joined a group. We challenge each other which really helps. Never thought I’d do 10,000 steps a day but with the help of your videos I’ve done that & more a dozen times. Can’t thank you enough! Stay safe & well.

I surprised myself and found ALL parts of the pyramid comfortably doable, i.e. I didn't feel the need to slow down! Tension rose a bit as we hit the 40 second mark, with mental sighs of relief as we descended. The last 20 seconds were heavenly easy peasy, but made me feel accomplished. I even felt my abs at work, so this is truly an all around well structured exercise. I love the simple moves knowing full well that they're very effective. This is a great workout! I am 50 and need a gentle workout because I have some chronic health issues and tire easily. This was easy on my joints but very effective. Thank you!

Thank you so much for doing these videos. I'm turning 70 this year and over the past 10 years have had a horrible experience. I've been falling so much and ended up in hospital so many times for broken limbs and ribs. So this is the first time I'm starting to move again. Even though I'm only at day 1 now, I will be completing the exercise routine. I finished this one and survived it and feel so empowered. Thank you once again. 👍💯💕

I had a stitch in my side that I was trying not to aggravate so I searched KZbin for a gentler workout and you guys popped up. I did a couple yesterday and this one tonight. I absolutely love you two and got a great cardio workout in.

I just did the Day 1 New Year Challenge session of 3000 steps in a pyramid pattern. I really enjoyed this workout. Had to increase my exercise because of diabetes and my goal is 5000 steps day and then increase it.Have done that for a week.That's really helped. Thank you for your videos.They're very helpful

There are so many good workout shoes out there. It's most important to find a pair that provides the proper support for your feet. I would love to give you a simple answer and recommend you get a certain shoe. But everyone is different has has particular needs. Since we do a lot of walking in our workouts, here's an AARP story on how to choose a walking shoe: www.aarp.org/health/fitness/info-2007/walking_shoes.html In our workouts, I wear Nike Shields and my mom wears Vionic Tulum Veros. I will start this tomorrow. I followed another of your workout video today. Now I rest. Lol I came back today and did it. The jumping jacks are the hardest for me to do but I modified them and got them done. Thank you.

Just finished this workout! Great combination of exercises. I do have one question. I did the entire workout as presented at the speed you are doing (not your mom) but I only came out with 2,302 steps. Is my fitbit working correctly?
