I “follow” a few thru hikers every year, I typically watch a fraction of their content - mostly tapping to skip past 8 minutes of walking. Your videos however are a perfect mix of talking, the trail, the things surrounding thru hiking and your editing is great. Keep it up

@@bob-ny6kn I agree. But Elian is at a far higher production value than any of the... I’ll call them “casual hikers” so it’s almost not a fair comparison. I believe she does a lot of post work (and it shows) vs dropping content whenever you can find wifi 😉 Same with Darwin or others. But overall, a lot of talent out there hiking 👍🏻

A broken pillow is a rough way to start the day! I highly recommend the Exped REM. It seems to be a lesser known model, no longer in production, so it can be a little hard to find for a decent price. I've tried about a dozen including your Nemo, and the REM is hands down my favorite. Very light, too.

I purchased the flash when it came out and loved it, but not the weight and not able to remove top cup, when they announced the stash I was all over it, It's just as fast as the flash but with the cup not attached .. I love it. Hope it works out great for you. want to hear your thoughts in a couple weeks , Stay healthy, keep safe .. and watch for snakes sunning on the trail, you can be on top of one in second. I know from years ago on the AT.

I love my Jetboil and ordered the stash as soon as I saw it. I haven’t used it yet, but it’s a lot lighter and more compact. I’m on trail in April. Can’t wait. Loved the sound of the peepers. It’ll be a while before we have them up north.
