Welcome to Day 14 of the 40 Day Kundalini Yoga Weight Loss Challenge with Mariya Gancheva! This Kriya is known as Kriya for Mood and Metabolism Balance. When the 13,14 and 15th vertebrae are curved, we put pressure one the liver. So the faster you pump the navel the better the results will be. Exercise 2 is the most powerful mudra known as the Abeah Kriya, it neutralises the being and helps prevent depression and negativity. This mudra controls the entire nervous system. Exercise 3, we prevent negativity as we work with certain frequency in the brain and pressure of the spinal serum. Exercise 4 adjusts the shoulder area and balances the emotional moods and body metabolism.

Wow! Looks so deceptevely easy, yet it's probably the hardest kundalini kriya I've ever done. It felt like my head was going to fall off during the head rolls. Quite the throat clearer, very much needed thank you!

Just loved this 🙏🏽💞 I paused before tuning out and had 8 min Savasana with music (Ocean with Mirabai Ceiba is wounderful). Then I sat in a 12 min meditation with Mirabai Ceiba singing « Ang Sang Wahe Guru ». A mantra that eliminates haunting thoughts and brings peacefulness. Thanks 🙏🏽 Namasté. 💜

How interesting that this is a mood booster, as it is the first kriya that had me crying with sadness. I'm not prone to inactivity or depression at all so maybe it has a reverse effect on me. Anyhow, I trust that whatever comes up is what needs to come up. Wonderful deep kriya.

Oh lord! That was the most challenging! Never experience anything like it. I had so much pinned up energy. I was angry, pissed. I cried. I wanna to reach thru the video and bop you. Hahahaha. But I pressed thru it like a champ. I didn’t cheat. I assuming I had pinned up energy in the back of my neck. I feel a kool sensation in my neck. So I’m guessing whatever it was, is cleared out. I needed that. Thank you so much.i will do it again later. Peace and blessings. Can’t wait till tomorrow for the next challenge. Namaste..... you cheated in the time line. First position was 4 minutes. Second position was 3:20, third position, 2:20 fourth position, 2:00 and 1:20.. so I’m gonna just do 3 minutes each. But I suggest you get a timer for exercises like these. Would help a lot

Kelly Spillett yes it pissed me off. Lol I wanted to go through the video and smack the day lights out her. I got real emotional, and angry. And her voice didn’t help it. Hahahahaha I’m thinking I had stored energy in my upper spine. But I did feel a released after wards. That was hard as hell, but I got passed it.

Wow. Challenging but so effective! My third eye was on fire and my throat chakra never felt so active! I have a slightly enlarged thyroid and was very surprised how effortless the tuning out felt afterwards. Air seems to flow much more freely through my throat now. I think I should revisit this kriya. 😉 Thank you and sat nam 🙏❤️

That is an amazing Kriya. I felt the fascia releasing around the neck and thyroid area as well as the ear canal! This is great for reversing the hump forward kyphosis. I will be repeating this one a lot! Just go very slowly and sit on a pillow. That tilts the hips forward and then it’s easier to do the arch in the back. Thank you Mariya for this!

anca I Sat Nam, thank you for letting me know. It is normal as this Kriys puts a lot of pressure on the upper back and neck area. Take it at your own pace and stop and resume as many times as needed. Be gentle to yourself. Even the smallest moves count. Blessings, Mariya

This Kriya was very hard for me and caused a lot of back pain so I had to stop a lot. However, I still feel better than when I started. My body feels warm and light.

Oh yes and to mention, this thing happened while I was doing this Kriya, everytime I exhaled deeply I made a deep bass sound which reminded me of a whale. Some very deep pain being released here.... thank you.

Today's practice wasn't easy at all, I needed to make some short breaks during it to release tension from my neck. Immediately after the 1st kriya I felt so relieved and good that I continued. The negative thoughts run away very quickly. It is so powerful...Thank you Mariya for this incredible experience ❤️💐🌞

Day 13 completed, indoors today as too rainy outside! I found this one really challenging, it seemed uncomfortable to sit this way with head back and I found that irritated me. Something going on inside me I guess! Now it's completed I do feel a sense of satisfaction for persisting and my throat feels very clear. Sat nam

This worked wonders and I wish I had it during my bad weeks of negative thoughts.. Will remember it though. I am recovering from many back injuries, and I found I couldn't tolerate my head leaning backwards for more than 8 seconds, then I have to bring it back to neutral otherwise my neck is in agony. I hope by keeping my head netural most of the time I still reap the benefits....sat nam. 💕

This one is a challenging one for me, but I feel pretty open and positive following it. My neck and shoulders are a little tender, so I meditate quietly for a minute or two in each set.

Did this again today. I managed to get most of the way through it without needing to come out, so I can tell my stamina and strength have improved greatly. I feel bright and clear now! Worth the challenge, I'd say!

Could not do these without neck pain and kept having to come out of them. Will I still have some benefit even though the positions were disrupted several times? Can you build the time you stay in the positions gradually?

Lisa Frideborg sat nam. This is normal especially if the neck is not used to them. Slowly and steady with these is the best option. You can do the same kriya several times to ease into it... or revisit it later. There is no problem to come in and out of the position. Hope this helps. M

Same with me, my upper shoulder blades had a sharp pain. I kept coming in and out of them but I felt the benefit. I suppose slowly and steady as Mariya said
