@@sashabythesea9149 It depends on how you feel, every woman is different, listen to your body, some women feel good when doing inverted poses, some don't. It's only recommended to avoid postures that build up heat in the abdomen and breath of fire because this might increase bleeding but for inverted poses like head-stand, there a lot pro and against, no strict rule, try and see how you feel. ❤️🙏

This one is for warriors! It helps to make everything in life seem easy in comparison. I’m going to read the comments before I start so I know what to expect next time. I was surprised how hard this one was. This is my 3d time doing the series. Don’t give up! It’s amazing how our bodies grow stronger. I don’t like bring angry. The anger comes up and it’s hard to just observe it and breathe through it. It’s part of the releasing and movement of energy.

Hello Tamara Congrats on 3rd time. I am on my second go round as well as first on the mental health reboot. I decided to also repeat day 5 daily until it comes naturally. Today will be the 17th day to repeat this kriya and yesterday was the first time it came with ease. You are right "don't give up". Liz

I have to say. I'm a 28 year old mom of 2, gave birth a 2nd time less than a year ago, so you can believe I'm really out of shape & slightly overweight, but I could do all of the poses. It was really challenging, but a doable. Do what you can. 😊

This one is way challenging! This is my 3d time doing the series. I’m going to go deeper and repeat the ones that are super challenging. Today was my 2nd time in a week doing this one. At the end I went into deep stillness! Very blissful! The camel pose is great for reversing forward kyphosis of the spine, also called Dowager’s hump! That’s why it painful and so wonderful to do! It opens up the anterior neck and chest. The fire breath is an internal massage. So good for the immune system during Covid times. The fish pose with legs in celibate pose is very hard. I alternate with one leg at a time, then slowly bring in both legs. However, the knees are still high off the ground. The celibate pose is amazing for helping the knees and the quads. This is a derp dive into surrendering to the ecosystem of the body. Thank you so much for this journey! I’m alternating with other days. The next ones number 6 and 7 are not as difficult. So there’s still a feeling of moving forward in the series. I’m doing this one over at least 3 times, in the next week.

Tamara Suggestion for modification in fish pose is a bolster under the back allowing the quads and hip flexors to adjust. Slowly decreasing the height until you eventually won't need support enjoying the benefits of the posture without strain with or without support.

This was a hard class! The fish pose was tough for me on my knees. I did the best I could - I placed one knee in and left the other straight. They are advanced , so I went as far as my body told me. Keep going! Day 5 is by far the hardest. I struggle with most postures but do them to the best of my ability...You will still be rewarded with a sense of calm and relaxation and eventually your body will be strong and flexible enough to do the advanced postures 🙏🏻

Exactly this is not for begginers I am Yoga teacher and i know this can not do people who are not flexible from day one to day 5 and pritty dangeorous. You need to be really fit and advance. Also not that many explanation what you can do if you can't reach knees or fit... Not many people can reach.

Yes way too big a jump from Day 4 to Day 5! This is my 3d time doing this series. All kinds of advanced stuff here. I did get very angry which is painful for me and it also means my energy is moving. I will repeat this one every other day for a total of 7 days so that I feel like I’m improving and have a level of mastery. Lying down in fish pose with knees in celibate position is very advanced. We need other ways to accommodate this pose for people who are not advanced.

Thank you for the program, each lesson so far made me feel better day by day. Day 4 was "heavy" and I felt after the class like having a hangover, really dizzy. It passed after cca 4 hours. Day 5 really showed me that my body is in a very bad shape, as I was not able to perform positions I was able to do before. I hope it will get better day by day. Thank you again for the program, I feel like a new person already!

Just did this and it has got to be the hardest so far! When I was in my 20s I could do all the poses with ease however now I am in my 40s and gained quite a bit of weight so I couln't lift my back into shoulder stand it kept falling down! Is this normal? I also struggled with fish pose and camel pose I bent back as far as I could but was nowhere near touchong my heels. I will stick with it though. 😊

However, doing them stimulates the vertebra and helps with flexibility. If the pain is material however, you should check with your GP as it might be something that may beer addressing. I very nearly gave up with this one. I would say that 50% or more of the poses felt almost impossible to me however I can recommend some adaptations. It's definitely worth it I'm 53 and 30 lbs overweight and if I can do it you can lol. For the shoulder stand I did an adaptation up against the wall. For the backward fish pose, as she suggested, cross your legs and then lie back. Pretty much every posture required adaptation but I can feel myself already getting more flexible. We can do it! Even if it's not perfect, we can make it suited to bigger and less flexible bodies :-)

Just do what you can- feel free to make modifications or if you cannot do it at all just sit and meditate for the duration of the exercise. Im just wondering because I never had pain in my celibate pose, but I had injured my right ankle and I had a little of lordosis so I don't know if that position is good for me, I could not hold it but mostly because of my foot. The rest was super good as always, breath of fire is a challenge for me always haha thanks a lot!!!!

Sat Nam Stefania, please be careful especially if you've had surgery. Don't push yourself too much. It's ok if you cannot get into certain postures. It's absolutely fine to do as much as you can.

I completed it!!!!! I used a padded exercise mat instead of a yoga sticky mat and the exercise with the head and knees was doable. I had to do the baby version of camel with BOF but I felt victorious after completing the full kriya. ♥ I have so much more faith in myself to complete this challenge. I would encourage people to modify and do what they can do, and have faith in this program.

Hey Mariya. I just completed day 5 of the program. Till now I have really loved the series and feel energised and refreshed. But I have a question. I am unable to do the fish pose and the part where you stand on your shoulders. I request you to guide me and all the beginners here on an easier or an alternate version to do the poses. P.S. The series is amazing though. ❤

Hi Saumya, thank you for your kind words and glad to hear that you've been enjoying the program. I'm sorry that there hasn't been many alternatives given, this program was created years ago, we're learning each day :) However, what I suggest is that just try to do your best and if you cannot do a certain posture it's absolutely fine. You'll get stronger each day with practice and soon your practice will improve. Hope this helps. Blessings

Hi, as the others said before, that session was very difficult for me too. Maybe I will do it one more time tomorrow. I feel not comfortable with the breath of fire in the poses when my belly is stretched. I can't relax my belly by breathing in. Any advice for that? Thanks Sylvie

Sylvie Rene sat nam, it is a tough Kriya but you should take it as deep as you feel your body allows. If breath of fire is too much then you breathe long and deep to create that space. Baby steps, never push yourself beyond what you feel your body can sustain. Be gentle with yourself and work slowly, there is no rush. Blessings, M

Just a reminder: people who want to do weight loss yoga are usually not so fit that they can do the fish❤️ alternatives would be lovely. I am still on it, though...

Hi Susanne, thank you for your feedback. We've been offering alternatives to challenging postures in our newer videos. This program was filmed 4 years ago and we've improved a lot since then :)

Does it meant to be painful in the stomach area 4hours after doing it? I'm feeling the pain on the area where we kept our hands on while forehead was on the floor

Hi Megan, it shouldn't be painful 4 hours after practicing. Make sure you don't push yourself too much while practicing and feel free to make adjustments. You can put a pillow under your forehead to support yourself. Hope this helps. Blessings

I am enjoying this series but it seems strange to me to begin right away with camel. I’ve been doing yoga for decades and I’ve always been taught that camel is a pose to be done only after warming the body up first.

Hi Mary, thank you for your comment, you have the right feeling! :) Only the original kriyas were filmed in these series "Transforming the Lower Triangle to the Higher Triangle" in this case, however, in every Kundalini Yoga traditional (full) class, warm-ups are recommended to begin with, so we would ideally do Tune In, Warm Ups, Kriya, Relaxation, Meditation, Tune Out, you can do any, as you feel 😊🙏

I have low blood pressure and camel pose can make me feel dizzy. Is there any way to make this alleviate? Even the modified pose can make me feel like this. 🙁

Ann Oldham sat nam. I hear you I have the same issue. It gets better with practice but maybe have a sweet fruit before you practice and also take it only as deep as you feel comfortable with. Also resting in between helps. You can come out of it the moment you feel uneasy and resume it when you feel strong again. Blessings, Mariya

Shannon Rose sat nam, yes it is. This is a deep Kriya and it works on balancing both body and emotional state. We release any excess or tension be it conscious or subconscious. Just allow the emotions to be released and relax into it. It's a normal process. Blessings, M

Especially when in camel pose, it's a very vulnerable, heart opening pose. I used to not be able to get into camel without tears coming.

Super challenging, but soooo worth it. Just amazing how this balances absolutely EVERYTHING! Added in a few froggies because of #froggiechallenge, but I think I've done this a total of 4 or 5 times when I need a little physical balancing (helps the emotions through balancing energies of the physical body, as far as I can tell on me)!

i had to sit on my 7 year old's soccer ball during celibate pose LOL it worked! I couldn't do fish pose at all (Just leaned back on my hands) but i used to be able to do it before i had my children, i suppose it will take time to get back there.

I loved the previous videos but this is way to challenging for me - There is a big difference in demands of physical flexibility between video 1 - 4 and this one. I think I will not continue the challenge.

Yes I almost quit too! Huge difference between first 4 and this one. I felt discouraged. But this my 3d time doing this series and I used to take Kundalini classes and some stuff is really for warriors. It’s so hard that everything in life feels easy in comparison.

That camel pose is definitely challenging for those with a bad back. I had to come up with a revised pose. Maybe with time, I will be able to do a proper camel.

Hi Stephanie, yes, camel pose can definitely be challenging for some. Feel free make modifications. You can place your hands on your back and bed backward slightly. Or don't bend at all. You'll be able to do it with practice but don't worry about it. Hope you're enjoying the program x
