punkkidlistz there wasn’t anyone in my home town either, other than my older sibling! I had to wait it out & move to a bigger city when I came of age. It took years to find my place in the scene even in a much bigger city! I would say, hunt down a punk show somewhere close to you, make it down there and start talking to the people there! I only know who I know through friends introducing me to them, also, instagram is a great tool for meeting punx that aren’t too far to travel to hang out with! We traveled almost 3000km to be at this festival! It was worth ever mile!

Thankfully there are no rules!! I say GO for it! I like many different genres of music so I think it would be rad! I think vests and jackets should represent who YOU are as a person! & Show off your music taste! I’ve never even thought of keeping it to one genre when I make mine! I just add whatever I feel like!

You could also do what I’ve done. I’m big into Thrash Metal and Punk so I’ve made two vests for both sides of me. My Thrash one is covered in patches and the other one is covered more so in studs. At the end of the day, who cares what people think. Dress how you want. My two cents.

punky goth if we haven’t made it ourselves we get it from friends we’ve met along our travels. My friend Kelli has a really wicked fanny pack business going called “ 3rd generation nation. “ my other friend Lauren has a spiked collar business called “down to kill” We sometimes buy gear at shows if anyone sets up a booth dedicated towards it ( which happened at both festivals we attended this year )

Grace fallingbehind awwww! Tyler is such a gem! We’ve really bonded with him this summer tagging along to so many of their shows! I LOVE no klasse! At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but after seeing them so many times I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the almost pogo style music with the raspy as ffff vocals. It’s so unique!
