Day 2 of Red Kratom Withdrawals. Thank you CG Kid for inspiring me to vlog the pain that I went through with this! Kratom had many benefits but also the withdrawals were more than I expected. Hopefully, this helps someone know they are not alone when going through them!

tbh for most people it is not addictive. that really sucks man. I love kratom and I can't amagine being that addicted to it. also they really don't know it its an opiate or not. naloxone also binds to the opoid recepter. that dosent necessary make it an opoid. sometimes I wonder if it comes down to genetics. Disagree.., painting kratom in a negative light will give the fda ammo and the will make the herb illegal… resulting in hundreds of thousand people overdosing. Took kratom for 10 years got off it no problem.., there are withdrawals but they are no way near as bad as dope. Kratom withdrawals just feels like having a bad cold for 3 days.

I got off of a 5 year Fentanyl prescription,on my own,by joining my local rec center and exercising every other day and replacing it with my natural endorphins. I felt better after my first workout, and it just kept getting better..IF you can be consistent, you'll find you are naturally higher for longer and can't wait for your next workout. At the 2 year mark,I was on top of the mountain. I got knocked off the routine by Covid and started on Red Mang Da,but I know I can get back on the horse and it'll be so good. When you get going, you won't be tempted because you don't want anything to interfere with how great you feel. Also,I stopped working out around age 26,and started again at 56,so don't let age or not being an athletic type stop you.

9:06 I just want to let you know that right now I am going through Kratom withdrawal and I'm just glad that this video shows that I'm not alone. I'm on day 2 just the same as you here. I have kratom sitting right over there I keep having to tell myself "No, you aren't going to just take a small bit to stop the withdrawal symptoms." Because I just keep wanting to take a little bit. This sucks so goddammit much I'm just really really hoping the worst of it stops soon. I just want to sleep. Please let me sleep. My arms and legs just won't let me stop moving. They won't let me sleep. For some reason I am the opposite of hot. My arms and my legs are absolutely freezing. I am living in Texas it is not cold whatsoever right now and yet I am wearing a sweater and jeans. Thick socks. Laying in my bed under my covers. My hands and fingers are arctic.

@@jasminemariedarling Yeah I haven't taken any, but it was really one of the most difficult and painful experiences I've ever had. Some people online will try to say Kratom doesn't have withdrawals. They are wrong, and fighting through them was horrible. I even went to the ER twice over the period of 2 weeks due to the agonizing pain I was experiencing in my arms and legs. I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone, and I'm definitely staying away from Kratom.

@@Rocky-oq9cy How long were you on kratom, how much were you taking and how long did the withdrawals take? I need to get off it. But I've been taking it daily for years, because any time I tried to stop I couldn't take the sickness & pain. The pain is mostly in my arms & the sickness is horrible. I have a doctor appointment in a few days, I'm hoping they will give me something to help before I completely withdrawal this time. I've cut my dosage way down but have withdrawals already, and this is just the beginning, I remember last time the withdrawals didn't start until I hadn't taken any at all for like 12 hours, so it's going to be worse this time. 😭 Just curious if you're all better now and how long it took to get there.

@@jasminemariedarling I was taking an ungodly amount. I had been taking probably 10-12+ TABLESPOONS of Kratom two times a day for probably around 2 years. I didn't start at that point, but my dose slowly went up over that time. The withdrawals lasted probably around 2 weeks. It is going to be difficult to sleep during them. The lack of sleep and the aching pains in my arms and legs was the worst part but even in extreme cases such as mine, it DOES go away afterwards. I won't lie to you and say it is going to be easy, but the withdrawals do get better. Lots of Ibuprofen and Melatonin will help.

Later we went had some drinks. Saturday I had a Christmas party and I had unbelievable sharp dulling pain in my upper stomach lower chest and even in my back. The pain would come and go. Yesterday was Sunday and the pain was still there. I didn’t think it was related to the Kratom, I was convinced that it was my gall bladder. Today is Monday and I finally start to feel better. I've been a heavy kratom user for the past decade and take over an ounce a day. Quitting cold turkey is nightmarish, and I'm basically unable to get out of bed for days. That isn't feasible when one needs to go to work and function in life. Instead I've tapered off a few teaspoons per week which allows me to continue functioning mostly but it's still difficult. I just started using stem and vein kratom which so far appears to be making the tapering process easier.

Or you can go from powder to tea which is a lot weaker too. I am a believer in tapering no matter how long it takes and it is the only way I could quit. Tapering was rough enough and cold turkey is like begging for nasty WDs IMO. I like being addicted to coffee a lot better than kratom no matter if all the pro kratom newbies say they are equal...hogwash and we all now that here. Have a good one.

After 5 years of heavy kratom usage 60 - 100 grams per day i'm now on day 8 of tapering down to 28gpd with only 2 doses within a 24 hour period with 10 - 15 hour windows in between and to say its been rough is an understatement of the year when i started this journey ... the drastic shift cutting out my middle dose and cutting a third of my intake was a shock to my body, the first 3 days where absolutely awful but i grinded it out sticking to my promise and i realized after the third day the withdrawals got easier to bare but they are still here and they get quite exhausting, i cannot just quit because of the amount i've been taken that would be catastrophic and possibly lead to me to lose my job taking days off from work and i'm not risking that. Next week i'm cutting dosage in half again and dealing with another 3 day adjustment period, then the next week i'm putting myself at the 5 -6gpd range with the same schedule and adjusting for another week and then i'm jumping off completely ... I'm not looking forward to it but its gotta be done, for anyone going through this two things i suggest ... get some probiotics in ya, vitamin c packets are your best friend and from my experience the sooner you get comfortable with the withdrawals the easier it gets ... so don't prolong the inevitable, taper if you're on a high dose mark but the longer windows you put in front of you before your next dose gets your body adapting so i'd imagine when i go cold the worst would have already passed.

Thank you for explaining how you assumed it would be no big deal, and are humbly saying this is no joke. Kratom forms a strong dependence. The addiction factor becomes evident when we go through this withdrawal and realize how bad this substance is, and then relapse months or years later. Every time I relapse I know how bad it will be to get off, and yet I throw reason to the wind. After 5+ times getting off and on, I am able to see what it means when they say addiction is a disease. For me, a strong sober support group is needed

This isn’t a recommendation but if u take suboxone (one dose) there is no kratom withdrawal. Suboxone has a very long half life so by the time the suboxone wears off the kratom is out of your system. The suboxone affects a different receptor in your brain so suboxone will get you off with one dose. Note you don’t want to continue using suboxone of course as long as u discontinue within 2 days you will literally have zero withdrawals.

Don’t do this!!! I took suboxone THREE WHOLE DAYS after my last dose of kratom and it kicked me into precipitated withdrawal! Withdrawals weren’t too bad but instantly was in the most pain I’ve ever been in as soon as I took the suboxone! Started throwing up and could barely move! Don’t take suboxone. Wait at least two weeks because kratom stays in your system for much longer than normal opiates.

I wonder if the WDs on the red were worse then the other two due to the fact it was your 3rd go of trying it. Maybe it does act more on opiate receptors and is worse WD but I would think the 3rd go could be a factor. How long did you wait in between going to the next 30 day trial?

There is no free ride for the addicts. I finally tried Kratom for the first time about three months ago. Had been taking opioids for 20 years. Tried Kratom to see if it could help with the withdrawal I go through every month as I run out of my monthly prescription in 10 days to 2weeks. It felt like a miracle that first week, all the benefits of an opioid without the drowsy feeling. Good for pain. Good for anxiety, total home run. Then the constipation came. Then even worse,I finally went. Hours to accomplish it and had a sense of what delivering a baby felt like. Thought I would get a break when I went back on the pills when my prescription came again. No,even taking stool softeners every day and getting that 10 day break from the Kratom each month my problems in the bathroom never ceases. Right at the this moment I have not taken Kratom for 8 days and have not gone to the bathroom in 3... and am scared shitless thinking about when I finally do(hahaha). you sure you were getting kratom? I always encourage people to buy from aka vendors never gas stations or head shops. just wanted to let you know. people are still being dosed with fentanyl today and not even know it. often times there being dosed with opioids. I encourage you to follow american kratom association and find a reputable vendor. God bless

@@ashleejustice2098 it depends on your level of use. I was using 30 grams per day and I'm quickly tapering. Down to about 5 or 6 and it feels just like a rough case of covid or flu. Pretty lame but not horrible, just try to take some time off work.

Kratom withdrawal is the most real shit ever. Went through it once before, years ago. Currently trying to taper and I’m still feeling it. Anxiety, restless, hot flashes. Also, all the reasons for taking it, your mental state when you started taking it (if you did for any mental/emotional reasons) begin to creep back.

Headache the first day.. restless leg syndrome 2nd day. 3rd day chills like crazy rls got worse. 4th day same thing got a tiny bit better. On day 5 now finally feeling normal but my feet are sweaty and cold. Chills on and off. But finally feeling like I’m breaking through. Shit is hell.
