Day 23 for me without kratom. Your approach to this I believe is the right way to go. Doctors need to get educated on this stuff because unfortunately kratom is going to mess up many lives if not addressed correctly. I’m not where I need to be yet but I feel like I am on my way.

Yes doctors do need to get educated on this. I did and I am still doing what I think will benefit me the most in the long run. I'm in this for the long haul. You are on your way for sure! If you went 23 days, these next 23 will be way easier!

It saves many more lives when taken properly. Don't blame kratom for people's misuse. Also, the purity, it sounds like this was some more toxic way of taking.

@edie4321 Yeah we can't speak for other people, only ourselves. If other people have their life saved by kratom, great! Wasn't the case with us. I know many people that are ex heroin or fentanyl addicts that use kratom. They've all told me the same thing. Kratom helped during withdrawal, but was just another substance to abuse, which they did. Also, I have chronic pain. Kratom didn't help me at all with that. I think everybody should know the truth of what they're getting into. It might not be the miracle life saver that it's advertised by many as.

@@StrongKeithJ , Congradulations on your recovery. I take primarily only reds, and it does cover my pain way better than the high doses of Morphine and Oxy I was prescribed. I also used it to come off of Adderall, benzos, and Cymbalta, miraculously. I fortunately haven't been called to abuse it, it has been a miracle. I wonder if certain colors, brands, and modes of delivery cause more problems. I would guess green is rough. I do not like the side effects. I'm so happy for your freedom. Much Love

3 shots at once, fam? I think that would have literally took me out. Now I feel bad even thinking about dosing. It’s crazy how i think about it more now going into my third week (I think) than I did before. I always overcome it but I think about it a lot. There’s signs for it everywhere. Thank the lord I was extremely picky and would only take lucky 80. Most stores wouldn’t carry it for its price alone. Anyhow… you have overcame so much. We all have. I pray that we can all get through our individual struggles without it weighing us down (creating more struggles). And as always… thanks for posting. You certainly save me every time I look down at the phone and see Kratom Keith posted. I’m like, dammmmn. He’s watching me 😂😂😂.

Yo, man, day 34. Remind me, brother, it gets better. No doubt, the worst has passed, but sometimes I still feel this wave of the blues where I feel just tired and depleted. I have to keep reminding myself how it IS getting better, but when these waves come…it’s like…when is this going to end? I’m not going to give up, though. You made it so far, so I can’t let a soldier down.

its hilarious the way you describe the restless leg because its exactly how it is for me, like you drive ur feet into the bed trying to bridge up to stretch ur legs and back out to the max to get some relief, all this time I was thinking i need to stretch or something because my lower back is not the greatest from heavy lifting and just super tight muscles all down there but its def restless leg, tbh now imma start having to keep like 5 grams or some shit already mixed in a cup for when i go to sleep so if I wake up and the restless legs happen i can drink it to go back for a couple more hours. Man probs to you for working while going through that for real, that shit I could only imagine how shitty that is
@StrongKeithJ
@StrongKeithJ Жыл бұрын
Our symptoms sound like the same. Kratom must affect us the same way, so we probably withdraw the same. Yes that's the worst part for me, the restless legs and back. It is hilarious to hear I'm sure because it's so true lol. If I didn't dose right before bed, a heavy dose, I would wake up at like 4 am already starting to withdraw. It's happened many times. I was dumb and I would take like 15 grams though, 5 grams was not an option for me. I used so heavy at night, I think that's why the nights were rough. But I got through it! Anything that is worth it, won't be easy! If I did it, you got this brother! Working while withdrawing was definitely hard. But what helped me the most was telling everyone around me what was going on, even my boss. And they were all very supportive, it made it easier tbh. I tried to quit once, and I was the only one that knew. I was still hiding my addiction. I had no accountability, and I started using again after 2 1/2 days. This time, I wanted everyone to know. This was how I was able to be successful. Keep me posted on your journey though. I wanted to quit for years, but barely made the jump 35 days ago. So I know how you feel.

@@StrongKeithJyah the 5 grams is just an estimate but its only a small amount the least possible to allow me to go back to bed for a few hours , my normal doses are 20 grams and as of late for some reason kratom hasnt been really hitting me like it used to so ive been taking like 25ish grams idk if my kratom is not the best the brand has been my go to but it hasnt been effecting me like it used to lately, anytime when i used to take more because I didnt feel like it was hitting right Id get sick and the wobbles but lately. If im honest I see it being really difficult to do all the stuff i used to do while on Kratom, I associated the KRatom with so many things like working out and playing games wthout the Kratom I dont see me doing those....currently im not working out once I quit I will start again for sure but I only want to play games when I have kratom its a weird mental thing now even having convos with people online on the games or in person I really dont care for without it, I think it is all in my head though, its hard for me to believe that I can enjoy any of those things anymore when I quit the Kratom and thanks for the response I def will update you, you do a good job at explaining your whole situation
@StrongKeithJ
@StrongKeithJ Жыл бұрын
Yeah your body gets used to whatever amount you're taking. I was taking really heavy doses at night after dinner. Probably between 30-40 grams. And I agree with you. I was always very lively, and the past 3 years or so I lost that spark. I didn't work out. I didn't want to do anything but chill at home, close to my kratom, and get as warm and fuzzy as I could. Plus my health was starting to suffer. I knew I was going downhill, and I needed to do it for myself first, then my family. Thank you though. I'll help you out with any topics you need help with.

I would literally be sitting in the bathtub 10-20 times a day. My back was the worst thing also. Another hard thing for me was I tried doing other things but couldn't concentrate on anything at all. 5 minutes into something I was done. I ended up going into a rehab in 1994 and struggled so bad. After 30 days I would sleep for a couple hours a night. That was it. Then when my 30 days were up I checked into a 3-6 month program. Never moved back to where I was from. Almost 30 years later still haven't gone back home. Been good since. Kudos to you my friend you're one tough son of a you know what. Keep it up it's definitely well worth it.

Thanks for your videos pal. Today is my last dose. I’m done with that green goblin! I can’t take it anymore. I abuse kratom for like 2 years, pretty high doses (more than 20+ grams everyday) and that thing really take over your life.. Kratom really left it’s own stain on my life... It puts you into kind of zombie state of being.. Made you emotionally cold, nothing is fun without it and list goes on… I feel ready, but scared at the same time. I already tried to quit an year ago, but I failed. Any ideas what helps with RLS? That is the worst thing..
@StrongKeithJ

That's great that you're ready to quit the green goblin. It really can mess you up, and it has in our case. I agree with being emotionally cold, and nothing being fun without it. TBH with you, you will have restless legs for the first 4-6 nights. Night 1-3 will be the most intense. I have found that you have to deal with it. Nothing takes that feeling away. Some people say certain things help. My advice is take only vitamins and hydrate heavily. Do a workout everyday. This will be tough, but it's worth it! I found that keeping myself busy, even at night helped me some. I didn't attempt to even go to sleep until about 12:30AM or 1AM. I think my body was a little more ready at that time. Since night time was worse for me. I just decided on my mind, I'm going to go through this no matter what happens. One day at a time. I am 38 days in and I feel great brother.
