it is a PI or PID regulator it will owershot and then find it self You need at Thermocopler with no housing then it will be faster and use a pease off alutape to get better contact ;-)

yep, it's PID so it makes sense it overshoots first. I'll look around for a different thermocouple

from controller to preheater. I see that the controller instruction is different in the video, it is not clearly visible.

I would like to reball a PS3 RSX but the same preheater does not heat the plate to 180-200 degrees, it only heats up to 140-150 degrees and the preheater marks 400 degrees.

@@fikodikov1997 yeah, for PS boards this preheater might not be enough, you'll definitely need to mod it and even then it might no be powerful enough. For those boards, I suggest something more powerful.

@@blackhorserepairsYes, it is actually small, but I think that by baking the plate and setting it to 180 190 below and with a quick station I can possibly get it, it happens that the preheater sensor is not correct and I have measured and it reaches the maximum 330 340, so with the mod I will be able to raise it a little more, it looks more stable in the video, by the way I like the ideas you have, greetings 🙂
