Im not sure who needs to hears this but clearly Caroline has been at this a long time and her technique is near flawless, so It's absolutely okay to take breaks as long as you keep going and don't give up. if you try to keep up with her out of ego you'll eventually hurt your self. You can rewind the video if needed, I do it all the time and my body is still showing amazing results ! These exercises are less about becoming stronger and more about who you become as you get stronger. Love and light xoxo

Well said, thank you because I am a hot friggin mess trying to ensure correct form and not hurt myself. I am slow but steady. We are all epic and with each workout we get stronger. I started to tear up at the end of this workout when I read the "you are Epic!" I'm having a really off day and when we started the 20 min complexes, I kept thinking that I wanted to quit. But I just kept going. Part of the reward of this program is the mental endurance you gain. I feel so proud today.

Honestly I wanted to write another comment to let you know I actually got a bit emotional when I finished this workout. Never in a million years did I think I could achieve something like I just did with this workout. I used to be 140kg and have lost approx 60kg and still a bit overweight at 80kg but never really ENJOYED exercise until I "met" you and lifting at home. I love lifting weights/strength training but honestly I hate the gym and so never really was consistent. But here I am, just finished day 44 and I did it all with 10kg dumbbells (except the curl to press 7kg instead for form!) and really minimal rests, although not none. I'm nursing some sore knees so I replaced the lunges with more sumo squats and uneven squats, but I wasn't looking for excuses for once in my life, I was looking for solutions to get the burn anyway, and I burned a tonne of calories and my god did I get a pump on my arms and shoulders! I loved it, I even danced in the rest between the complexes, wtf! I feel so good and it feels SO GOOD to feel good. Thank you Caroline once again. Thank you so much.

I did it!! Let me tell you, I ALMOST quit after that first 20 minute complex. But I didn’t! I am 16 month postpartum and I was 120 LB due to significant muscle loss during my pregnancy and I am up to 144 LB! It may not be ALL muscle I gained back 😉 but definitely a significant amount! I've decided that my favorite part of this program are the complexes. Time flew by when I was doing these because I was sooo focused on completing 5 reps properly and then challenging myself to do them better in the next round. The selected combination of exercises made me sweat a lot, too! And then I read "last full body dumbbell workout", I felt complicated because, woah, it's a little sad that we're almost finished but then I also look forward to what's in store after Epic. My first challenge was not focus on the 20 mins time of each complex so I kept my mind to focus like you on doing each reps properly without thinking about how many times Caroline catches up with me 😜😜😂 When I get tired I took few seconds to breathe and then I am back up with the challenge of doing better. On the 2nd complex, I was focus on doing the same reps on each side... To me it's was first a mental challenge then a strength one. I am proud and feeling good to tackle the day. But so happy that tomorrow's is a rest day because EMOM is coming and I must confess it's one of my greatest challenges especially when Caroline add the upper sequence she loves so much 🥰😊😊🙃. You can feel that the end of this program is near, since each workout that is left is like a FINAL EXAM!!! So, if we want to graduate🎓👩🎓🧑🎓, we really have to earn it😃😃😃 Tough workout, the complexes always killed me anyways, since the first time they were on the menu🤣🤣🤣 However, I learned to make time to do the Friday& Sunday workouts in the morning, so I have enough energy! I'm 59,I've been back into fitness for a year. I have favorite routines on youtube, but once a week I check out something new. Caroline's video came up after my dumbbell workout. So I thought I'll give this cute girl's workout a try. Duh.. Yes I failed. I won't even say how long I lasted. I get to feeling like I am fit and then I stumble upon this. You people are legends. I am inspired. I will be back. Though I know it will be quite a while until I can complete these.

Hi Dennis...I am 60 and have been working out with Caroline since just about when she started her channel! Once you get into it I’m sure you will love her workouts. My advice is to start off with some of her shorter workouts from her playlist...then move on to her beginners epic series...and when you’ve done that a couple of times move on to her full epic series! I still can't do push ups on my toes but I did mange to do push ups on my knees which is amazing because when I did Epic Beginners I couldn't even do a push up on my knees 😍 Soon enough I'll be able to do regular push ups ❤️ I could also go deeper with the squats and lunges which is also amazing.

Oh my, this was an absolute killer!! When Caroline says "advanced," she really means it! Was crazy tired by the end of the first complex round, but when I saw the screen flash "AWESOME, hard part done!" I felt encouraged to keep going. Thank you for always pushing us further, Caroline! And this community you built has also been so positive and supportive :) So nice to read all the comments and everyone encouraging each other. There are still times when I think to myself that if someone had told me a couple of months ago that I would be able to do and finish these kinds of workouts, I would have been in total disbelief! I am going to find another full body workout on Caroline’s channel and complete it tomorrow and then probably come back and do the last 20 min of the workout where she goes through each exercise only once

As I was sprawled out on the floor after this workout thinking I was broken it occurred to me it was just the opposite. We are all incredibly strong because we finished this workout and have completed 44 days of this program. Caroline is life changing. I’m not being dramatic. I mean it 💯!

WOW!!! I think that’s one of the hardest workouts I have done 😓 I had a busy day at work and thought I was going to give up after the first complex, but I didn’t, instead I reduced my weight. Then I carried on and thought I’d drop after the second set. But didn’t. Got back to my first weight and carried on! Oh wow! I did it! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 It was great, but sooo hard at times, I just kept dripping with sweat and Caroline kept lifting these weights as if it’s 1 kg she got 😁 So impressed, you truly are the best personal trainer I have come across! This was insane but so so much fun! When I started this programme I was working with a set of 3kg weights and about half way through I bought a set of 5kg weights which I started incorporating into sets and sessions in very small amounts initially. I proud to say that today I managed to do all of the complexes with my 5kg set and, I only set them down once during each complex. I definitely don't keep up with Caroline, but I'm having such a blast pushing my limits and feeling so strong and competent in my body. I also enjoyed the push ups more than I thought I would - my range of motion has improved significantly during this programme. Thanks a bunch, Caroline! You are a star :) Much love from South Africa

I surprised myself today! Prior to doing this workout I had decided that I would at least do X number of sets in each complex, and I was able to do one extra set. But somehow I feel like I could have done more; that's probably just me being hard on myself. The push ups were hard and my left elbow was hurting. What matters is that I made it through this very HARD workout! Before EPIC, I couldn't have done it. More than anything, I'm SUPER grateful for the bits of progress I've made in terms of strength. I want to be stronger still! Love you Caroline, you are the BEST!

Great workout for me. As as a 68 year old athletic woman this was quite a workout I enjoyed it very much. I've been doing your workout for quite some time now and it's unbelievable how tone I've become. I've done quite a few workouts some other KZbinrs but I have to say yours is the best it has helped me tremendously. Looking forward to your new workout thank you.

I was pretty much on the verge of tears the entire time. I was sweating so much by the 2nd complex and had to start taking breaks a little over halfway through to give my wrists a break and simultaneously hurriedly wiping myself and the floor of the sweat that was literally dripping off of me. I know I’m late to the party, but cheers to everyone who pushed through. And if you couldn’t go all the way through, let’s keep pushing and try again in a few months.

Can’t believe one week left and I’m definitely getting started on the epic II program! I am loving the results! I know I still have a long way to go, but I’ve gotten faster results following her program than tryout other KZbin videos on my own. I have practically lost all the flap under my arms, they are tight and I can actually feel my ab muscles as I tighten them! I can now handle the 25 pound weights, I’m feeling so much stronger! I don’t expect miracles in ten weeks after years of struggling with my weight, but I now I can definitely get to the weight I’m happy with after finishing all her programs! It’s not easy at 45 but it’s not impossible and if I can get my body to look half as good as her I’m am happy with that! Thanks Caroline!

I’m on holidays in a little rural gym and the other members were looking at me very oddly with my I pad. 😅 the 20 min complexes were really tough today , I struggled but got them done. I was so proud to not have modified anything and used 10 kg throughout,7kg on curl for form. I’m bushed but feel so accomplished having done that. I never thought I would have. I'll be back in a few hours to complete this workout. But I am happy to report that I started working 2 days a week with a trainer, the same time I started EPIC. We focus on power lifting moves: squats, deadlifts, and bench press. In 7 weeks my deadlifts personal record went from 200lbs to 225lbs. I 100% know its because of my consistency with Caroline's program 😊💯. I also just realized that there are no ads on these videos. How come Caroline? You should ve rewarded for your hard work. Not sure if monetization works different for fitness channels.

After a two day break (called away to assist a loved one essential) I was SO so eager for today’s sweat session. I learned I CRAVE my fitness fix now, and your lovely encouragement! I was able to keep up pretty well, actually. I have a great suspicion (but will not peek till tomorrow) that tomorrow’s is a HIIT and so I’m off to enjoy the rest of my day (time with my husband, a walk and some crafting). Pouring out blessings on you and your family today.

The bit I found hardest was going back through all the exercises again at the end! I suppose the problem is that you know exactly what is coming!! I was dripping sweat all over the room so during the 2nd complex IT was really hard for me to find a non slipping place for push ups 😀 anyway, great workout, really challenging, especially psychicaly!

I tried to complete this video 3 days ago and I found myself giving up after less than 3 minutes, feeling like crap after a long day at work and a high level of stress. This morning I woke up determined to finish this even if I knew it was hard and demanding. I've put on my favourite gym set, filled my bottle of water, grabbed my mat and SMASHED this! I paused in the abs part to complete them all before the timer continued to the other minute, but I did it! I'll finish the program tomorrow and I feel amazing! Can't wait for part 2. Thank you Caroline for making me overcome my limits with tough but rewarding challenges like this one. It boosted my confidence for today ahah!

Whew Caroline the first complex! I persevered throughout with my 10kgs(I kept eyeing my 8kgs though) and a few(ahem) rest breaks 😅. At some point during the second complex I suddenly thought to myself is this me doing all these proper pushups💃🏽. It was a great work out Caroline. Thanks so much for your workouts. They are amazing.

I looked at this workout and got really nervous!! 2x20 min complexes? Then I said, don't think about it, just do it, like the 43 workouts before it. And then i did it. OMG i did it!! I finished it and am so proud of myself. Almost started crying. It also helps to just NOT look at the timer, just focus on your form and your counting and it'll be over before you know it!! You can do it too! :)

Epic day 44 has been a real challenge for me, had to stop in the first complex and dropped the weight in 8 minutes and re-start in using my 5lbs. Used my 10lbs in the second complex and to the end and I just love it! Will do this again after Epic 2! Thank u Caroline. ❤

I had to google grit as I thought it was a type of food. Wiki says: “In psychology, grit is a positive, non-cognitive trait based on an individual's perseverance of effort combined with the passion for a particular long-term goal or end state.” That is sooo deep! I want to have some of the GRIT for breakfast please😁.. I can’t wait for it. Thank you for gritting us to the max!

I lived in the states for a while, but despite that I didn’t get the chance to try GRITs. We stayed in the New England area. I guess grits is a southern dish. Can’t wait to start this workout. Ms. Caroline Girvan,,,, Do you know what I am doing right this minute while I am writing to you? I am crying!! I ran out of juices and grit for the entire day! Oh my what an extremely hard routine! My heart rate was up to 175 all the time! I burnt 800 Cals and I thought I was having a heart attack on separate occasions.. This reaaaaaallllllyyyyy pushed our limit. To my surprise, I didn't mind the pushups (which is usually my weakness point) but the curl to press was tough. I had to go down to7.5 kg. Anywhoooooo.. I am very thankful to you and we still love you!

Caroline: Pure Grit Me: Pure Grimace with Pure Grunt I don’t know why I am looking forward for this. With Caroline’s workouts, my mind has started to be wired differently! @@rajashrikamath6007 thanks so much for the extra motivation! My form of exercises was only yoga (I still do it 2x a week). No weights, only body weight. I love walking and did some trekking before ( trekked and climb stok kangri in Ladakh a few yrs ago after a medical mission). But with lots of things going on in our household plus COVID, I’ve been unmotivated. Thanks to chance encounter of Caroline’s channel, I started to look forward to something and seeing incremental results. Have a great weekend!

Day 44 ✅ 20 minutes was too much for a person like me.. i lack that amount of concentration and i knew i wouldn't have enjoyed it. So i did another full body workout but came back and did the last 20 minutes of this day ( one time all rounds) to make a check ✅ on this day.
