Thanks again! In my 2nd year of membership and my largest obstacle is my ADHD. I play soccer twice a week and this is a very nice adjunct to my almost 70 y.o. self. Because it helps my soccer balance and strength, my consistency in practice is improving.

Great poem! I liked the bubbling fountain/bouncing the ball movement. It's a wonder to see how my body is now automatically "flowing" in the right direction; one movement leads to another so naturally. Trust the process!

Thank you for doing all these... I know it meant a lot of preparation on your part. And, just when I think I've seen all the moves, you introduce a new one: the draping the coat and bouncing the ball!! Loving these and your presentations. Question: I'm so interested by the Press. Does that have a symbolic meaning?
@beginwithbreathtaichi11 күн бұрын
In Tai Chi, the "Press" (or "Ji") movement, as part of "Grasping the Bird's Tail," represents applying focused and controlled forward energy. It combines the forces of Peng (ward-off) and Lu (rollback) to create a smooth, resilient pressure, redirecting the opponent's force while advancing with a steady and unified motion. This movement emphasizes connection, structure, and the redirection of energy through the body.
