Morning Taylor! Congrats on making it to the half way mark and 1100 miles! Really really great video today. I had a feeling that you would push a huge day to catch up. The section of the AT around Pine Grove Furnace holds very special meaning to me as it was my first ever backpacking experience as a young Cub Scout. Every time I see it in someone’s vlog I am instantly 8 years old again carrying my exterior framed pack with my huge Slumberjack sleeping bag strapped to it hiking through the green tunnel and just being in awe that a trail like the AT existed. I can’t wait to be back there again someday! I am happy for you that you caught up with your tramliy, I bet it was an amazing and rowdy night at camp! Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well. -Grateful

Hello Taylor, I’ve really been enjoying your videos. I started watching them after my friend, Mr. Freeze, started the AT 3 weeks before you. He only documents on Trail Journals so it’s nice to see more of the trail that your videos provide. Anyways, you are about a week behind him and may catch him soon. If you should catch up with him, please give him my regards.

The moon is/was the backup for not having a headlamp, as long as it’s clear (skies) can literally hike by the light of it (as long as it ‘s risen), plus it was kind of a super moon, (The Pink Moon), tho technically not full til the 27th. Next one May 26. Check that was full on 4/26 at 11:31 pm EST.
