Let’s remake and remaster the same (amazing) game 18 times and let the silly public pay out of their pockets for it. Something they actually want? Nah, they don’t know what they want.

I just bought days gone a couple weeks ago and finished it yesterday. I absolutely loved the story and the game play and was honestly pretty sad when I got to the end. Being a big fan of the similar style open world Mad Max game (which is likely to never have a sequel), I had high hopes that this title would get the sequel it deserves. It really does suck that it may never happen. I hope titles like these that keep the single player genre alive keep being developed, with an ever deeper story line and fun game play that gamers can enjoy.

''deeper story line and fun game play'' Well, Days gone has neither
@eliott50686 ай бұрын
@@Yakuze0 Depends. Not all stories and gameplay styles are for everyone. I personally really liked the story and progression, I only wish there was the option for more choices so you could work for the camps you like, and ditch the ones you don't. Like a morale system of sorts. Besides that, I think the story was really good and the gunplay/gameplay was fun and interesting. The hordes for example, while super hard to fight, really had a good sense of terror and realism in my opinion. Not every game will be perfect for everyone, but this game does have a community and I think it deserves to carry life into another title.

This game dropped during covid when people were laid off from work we were all struggling financially and couldn't afford it at full price. We definitely could now

Days Gone was released in April 2019, Covid wasn't a thing until November 2019 and didn't actually affect the world until January 2020.

We have known for a good few years that Days Gone wasn't greenlit for a sequel & that Bend Studios was working on a live service game, which is a mistake in my book but that seems to be what companies are chasing ever since Fortnite blew up. I played & platinumed Days Gone on my PS4, I enjoyed it very much & was looking forward to the sequel, considering they left the game with a cliffhanger, but we won't get a continuation. People always compare it or call it the lesser man's Last of Us, beyond fighting infected in a dystopia there is very little to connect them. Last of Us was a linear story driven game & Days Gone was an open world game, the stories bar the initial outbreak don't bear many similarities.

Ive put 400 hours in days gone it’s truly a masterpiece its a huge game the world feels alive the amount of randomness happening with freaks ambushes kidnapping loud noises causing them to find and chase you random mini missions the freaks moving at night looking for food dead bodies getting eaten that you killed man it couldn’t help but have bugs a launch performance issues it pushed the ps pro to the limit

I loved the game still do but idk why critics didn't like it but were so happy for Battlefield 2042 that was evidently not good. loved days gone for story, for gameplay but mostly story and the hordes Did it on pc though and went all out with it. one day we'll find sb who'll appreciate it ☺️

I personally wasn't the biggest fan of Days Gone but I still fairly enjoyed it. I was always excited for a sequel to see how much further they could push and really improve it. Really take it to the next level. One aspect of the game I really liked was the survival aspect of the game, it was done really well. I think we will see a potential sequel at some point in the future.

Not surprised... shame though the game was solid, especially on PC where you can install some pretty cool mods to enhance the experience. I wouldn't hold my breath on a Days Gone 2. I have a feeling that if Bend Studios live service game doesn't sell well, Sony will shutdown the studio entirely.

We have known for years they weren't going to make a second part. Interviews with developers said they tried to sell the idea of part two to Sony but Sony werent interested. I also really want a part two but this isnt new news.

tbh this game pleasantly surprised me. I was never interested in it. Nothing about it is really original on thier own. But the combination was somewhat unique. However yet another zombie game in an extremely diluted genre. It was better than I thought it was as far as story goes. But these days if games can't get milked for their MP then it USUALLY doesn't go well. Or it has to be some very nerdy shit like Elden Ring to do well as a SP game.

A lot of charge cuts between scenes drop your experience down. The potential is here, but every cut take you off from the history line.

If sony dont want it sell it off to pc devs or xbox. No one wants what bend is making. Even of they make a good game,npeople wont stop asking for days gone. So sony should publicly announce theyre trying to sell the rights to it.
