Trying to make a thrilling storyline game . That’s arguably better than game 1 and game 2 . Abby and Ellie unknowingly work together through via abbys old boss camp leader towards mutual mission effort uncovering maps and locations at abbys old compound with food hall and weapons trucks of last known survivors. At distance city’s travel routs boats and airplanes and ziplines. i have a plan but season 2 and season 3 is gonna need some fresh-blood and new cast members, go full steam ahead . this is the kind of show i would recommend right beside the walking dead. good potential for bella ramsey and the last of us franchise and cast. if season 2 and season 3 go as good as expected try balance out the chaos with some added new cast .... it was kinda extremely crazy for that little black kid to get the infection and his older brother to take his own life . if i were the director i would definitely let the marriage between the game lore and logic and the show inspire/inform each others development dynamic if thats the right word for the best story-line in the show seasons . jesse hasss to be in season 2 imo for sure definitely. ellie was driven rampage "to prep / to fight / and to hunt down" the people that killed joel she would later come to find out was abby and her friends. there's like this cold reserved attitude ellie takes up against joel and against the world while dinas just being a girls girl possibly afraid of bugs still caught up in town gossip drama and reminding people to hold onto good memories from there past , until she finds out she gonna be pregnant and becomes a more serious woman she takes up a mothers tone with the kids that she would watchover back at the homestead. while jesse is the opposite of ellie he has this survivors never give up attitude a workman lending a hand . he adds a level of much needed selflessness/HUMILITY to the show and to their small world. that others in the show just dont really express because there haunted with this unimaginable weight and fear surrounding their town. i think jesse deserves a proper burial and grave site maker back at the homestead with his friends and family . while abbey has always had this awkward rage pint up energy around her friends ever since her father was killed. assuming the cure is in ellie , i believe the driven passion to solve the vaccine should also be in ellie as well. lets say she meets a scientist whos research leads ellie to go looking for the fireflys herself with her new small group strike team , to proposition the fireflies with a plan ellie and the new scientist survivor has . i dont believe a counter-store drug pure-cure will be found , with extreme unlikelihood of industrial mass production with lack of facility's and cdc cure makers. they're not looking for a point A to point B cure , instead they're looking for possible vaccine human-immunitization and zombie-eradication extermination .

cure outgrows Ellie, turns out lev is immune. Abby gets killed trying to defend lev from the fireflies (she already knows lev will die for the cure). Lev wants to be the cure, ellie takes on joels mission from the first game and ends up trying to save lev (like abby and joel, killing the fireflies to save lev). final scene theyre all sat around a campfire, ellie looks directly into the camera and says "we are the last of us". based on my experience in my first playthrough of the second game i can only expect for it to feel this dogshit XD

idk man the idea of all the rumours of the fireflies banding back together opens up the idea of a game about redemption. ellie and abby forced into working together towards the common goal of finding a cure (setting things right from the first game)

I feel as though TLOU2 is less about Grief, and more about general Loss. Which is almost the same thing obviously, but! Everyone, not just Ellie and Abby has to deal with some kind of loss that doesn’t necessarily mean having to deal with the grief of losing someone.. Obviously Ellie loses Joel, but she also loses her mental sanity, her fingers, which then in turn makes her unable to play guitar, which was something that kept her close to Joel even after he passed, she also loses Dina and JJ in the end. Dina loses the father of her baby and being able to even have the option to co-parent, she gives up her life in Jackson (which, im sure she goes back to Jackson when she leaves Ellie) JJ loses his dad before he’s even born Abby loses her dad and all her friends minus Lev Lev loses his whole life, everything he’s ever known is gone except his faith. Which, not sure if after Seattle he even keeps… Tommy and Maria aren’t together anymore, Tommy also is unable to live his everyday life that he’s used to because of his injury that Abby gives him from shooting him. And I’m sure he also loses his leadership role in Jackson since he had left the town with little to no warning. Hell, even the WLF lose the full on civil war that they started by invading the island… I’m sure there’s more that I didn’t even get to.. So yes this game has a lot of grief in it. But these complex characters aren’t only losing people they love, they’re losing the ability to live a completely different life that they would’ve lived if Ellie didn’t ever go to Seattle in the first place, or if Abby decided not to go to Jackson.

We didn't want to play as Abby in main story. Should have been a side DLC like Left Behind. We want to use Joel. So Part 3 can be a prequel or a grown up JJ trained by Tommy to do what Ellie failed to do, avenge Joel. Ellie can tag along to keep JJ safe but you're right, Abby will die.

I'd never consider playing a live service game & younger folks don't seem to be as loyal to consoles. Some like PCs. My kids play the console every now and then.
