I ran C4s as my car was auto from the factory. However, I would have loved to have had a 4 speed on my Cleveland. With that 110 octane green Cam2 fuel, I would have had the fastest car in town! Nobody would have been able to grab that $100 bill off the dash after I dumped it! What great memories. Thanks again Tim!

You’re welcome Darrell. Oh yes she will be bad to the bone for sure. Have not ran cam 2 in 40 years. Mostly VP and ram Q16 in Cougar for the first time ever. Love that stuff. $110 for 5 gallons

Ujoints need a slight angle to live a trouble free life. Not enough angle and the joint will freeze up, Too much angle and the joint will have accelerated wear or if severe enough the joint will break. 3 degrees should be the sweet spot for most applications. For factory applications consult the service manual.
@DragBoss351ClevelandАй бұрын
Right on my brother. I get it. Should end up about -1-2. Thanks for the experience

It takes ingenuity and patience to successfully adapt certain parts to work together in ways their original makers may not have intended. DragBoss demonstrates exactly that here. We see and learn. Mrs. DragBoss is going to be so proud and happy driving this Mustang!

4v can make low end torque. I'm putting an engine together to prove it. Found the right combination by experimenting.

That’s a fact. Especially since I never did anything like this before. Seems to be working out the way I this supposed to. Lots of progress.

I know uou like the Cleveland stuff. Recently got pics of some experimental, aluminum dual plug heads Ford made in the late 70s, early 80s. They were tried in a fleet setting then mostly destroyed. Local guy knew someone at Ford and has a couple of the damaged heads and a set of clean castings as well. If you aren't familiar with them and would like to see the pics let me know how to share them with you.

Nice channel. I got one of these in Coyote Stock spec for my 95 Mustang last weekend. I can’t wait to get the car going and it will be driven on the road time to time. Did they say anything about shifter stops? Mine bolts that are in a spot where you’d think they would be stops look like yours, all the way in.

I’m sure you know, but in case you didn’t you got to watch out measuring angle off the carb mount surface, it’s not on the same plane as the engine operating angle, on some intake manifolds.

Why not run a V Gate shifter, that would have been used in this period. They are the best way to shift for drag racing or for nostalgic purposes. Ronnie.

Friendly Advice: Don’t wear gloves when drilling. The company I work for builds multi million dollar airplanes everyday. After a co-worker lost a finger. It was concluded that wearing gloves to protect his hands when drilling. Actually allowed the drill bit to snag up onto the glove and pull his hand into the drill bit. And that’s how he lost his finger and crippled the rest off his other fingers on that hand. Using Gloves while drilling around a drilling machine of any kind is actually more dangerous. Than bare hands. Stop doing it. Anybody who does it. STOP.
@DragBoss351ClevelandАй бұрын
Well the dang thing caught the drill, so I said need some gloves. Also luckily is not very fast rpm wise. Thanks for the heads up Jon
