We saved this Amazon estate from the crusher last summer and never tried getting it to run. Fast forward to today, we tried!

Check out the first video from this car, an excellent pressure wash.
What should we do with it?

Bummer Dean! Sad to see that the floor and it’s structure is mostly gone! At first the engine sounded like a grandad passing gas but now it runs quite nice! I hope you can safe it in Some way ! 👍🏻👍🏻🆙 like allways Dean !

One of my lecturers at Uni had a lovely one of these in the early eighties and she used it purely for moving hay for her horses, I had a 145 at the time and tried to get her to swap it with me, but sadly she thought it looked cute! Carrying hay bales does not help a wagon have a happy life!

The ignition wire for #1 cylinder are made at a 90 deg. in case the B18/B20 has AC installed. The compressor is typically mounted on the front of the engine next to #1 cylinder. This way the wire can clear the compressor housing and be removable/serviceable. Lower end ignition wire sets (Rockauto) will omit the single wire with the right-angled connector.

It’s definitely rough, but the wheel well cracking is normal stuff. Mine has it bad on both sides. Before mountain meet mine started squeaking really bad, and instead of…fixing it? I just hosed the crack down with wd40. Worked a treat.
