I would say the most likely ending would be the INFP simply doesnt act quick enough on any interest and the potential relationship just fizzles out. True story. I once met this lovely woman through Facebooks ancient app AYI (Are You Interested) we got on well and it felt like I was in a relaxing warm pool of water whenever I was with her. I absolutely loved it. After about 6 meets I decided I would tell her how I feel as I was very smitten with her...but I just could never build up the courage. I was petrified that she wasnt interested romantically and I would lose her friendship. We carried on seeing each other. We even went to a park in summer and it was an isolated moment and I mised a perfect romantic time to tell her..We saw each other weekly and then each time I just felt weirder and weirder that I had not asked her how she felt...It kind of just fizzled out and we stopped meeting fml

@@atomiccritter6492 dude I feel you so bad. I was honest with my feelings with this guy today and found out he thought my intentions had only been friendly, even though he felt attraction to me he was confused. This has to do with the fact that he was at the same time dating someone else (long distance and they weren’t exclusive yet during our date) and his intuitive clues about this were too vague for me, or rather i picked up on them sort of but couldn’t make sense of it due to the other signals he were sending me, that he was interested in me too. Alright, so... confession time: At uni many years ago, I created a ranking model based on attributes (total of 13) that I determined were most important to me. I set the cutoff at top 5 to get to get to know better and ended up exclusively dating the one with the top rank (I'm leaving names out for obvious reasons). Pro Tip: Never...**EVER** ... tell them they were #1 in your scoring model. I know you would *think* they would be flattered that they were your #1 choice... but--INEXPLICABLY--this will not be treated as a compliment. I know you might be thinking, "well, maybe I tell her after a year and she'll find it adorable and flattering." **DON'T**... just take it to your grave. p.s.: If you are "her" and you found this and are reading this... I'm sorry. ;_; I was trying my best.

@@ManuelPerezUS LOL! There are times in my life when I've wanted to create dossiers of people I meet. Then I realize that it feels too stalkerish, the ROI on the energy spent is questionable, and that that's what dating sites are for. But sure, if there's several great potentials I know IRL, then... scratch that; either there are too many potentials for the merely-possible return to outweigh the costs of voluminous data gathering or (more likely the case) there are few enough potentials that you can rely on intuition or the given circumstances to decide which one to approach first. And if those multiple potentials are actively pursuing you at the same time, then it's easier to just wake up or realize you're in a sitcom.

Yep, sounds about right. ENFP married to an INTJ. Early conversations involved a lot of questions like "what's your conflict style?" "how many relationships have you been in?" "where do you see yourself in five years?" "what's something you like about your parents' relationship, and what's something you'd do differently?" . . . Alongside the more important and fun ones like "what's your favorite dinosaur?" because if someone doesn't have an answer to that question ready to go, is it even worth it? By halfway through the third date, we'd gotten through all of those, declared the relationship official, and started intentionally diving into our mismatched political stances to ensure we could talk about serious ideological differences in a productive way.

Statistically speaking, the odds of long term compatibility were quite low though, so not that big of a loss, not to mention the potential risks of loss if things didn’t end up going well. I think I can rationalize this as a win to myself, considering the stress and deviation from routine, pursuing her may have caused me. Besides, the relative chances of success will be much higher once the 30 step plan is completed, at which point the expected utility of such a pursuit will be ever so slightly positive, thus rendering it worthwhile” *proceeds to read or work to distract myself*.

I excuse my self because I'm getting confused having feelings for her. We're in the back seat of my friend's car on the way home when she kisses me deeply. She answers for me but I don't mind because I thought my friend's car is kinda slow... it's a 98 Buick. I'm back at my apartment at 6 in the morning thinking..... So, he specificaly created a character to flirt with MY character, literally that's what his character bios said 😂. And his character was so cool and had everything that my character was looking for, that she had no choice but to fell for him... then to make long story short, while our characters were a fiction couple, we became real friends and after sometime we ended up as a real couple. We were from different countries so we spent 3 years being a long distance couple, till he saved some money and left everything he had and everyone he knew and traveled to my country just to be with me. 🥺. As an ISFP this is way too accurate. When I had my first crush I kept repeating to myself “This is just a first teenage crush, this is just a first teenage crush, everyone had that, *do not* make any moves at all you’ll get over them sooner or later, I swear if you even try to let them know you like them you’ll ruin your chances to be better friends with them”. I got over them after nine months.

@Odysseus19993 жыл бұрын
INFP is completely accurate other than stalking them “coincidentally” (but if you’re also INFP like me and you creep-out on people, hats off to you) and writing a love story about them. I have written a love story for every woman I’ve developed feelings for, they’re just in my head. I would actually write one, but I don’t think I could convey the saturation and warmth of my attraction properly. You can never really convey into words the butterflies, the longing, the heartache, and the lust, into words. Imagery helps, but it makes a lot more sense when you’re experiencing it yourself. That, and I’m lazy and afraid someone would actually read it. EDIT: Maybe I do “stalk” them, because I will look up their social media accounts. I remember in grade school I asked my younger brother where his friend lived because I had a huge crush on the kid’s older sister who was my age and in a lot of my classes. Looking back on it I was a massive p***y because she sat next to me in multiple classes and I was still so intimidated and shy around her. I could’ve just made a move, not that she was into me anyway. These days, I’m different, I’m fairly obvious when I like someone. I can be a very flirtatious person. That is, when I feel comfortable talking to them. Online is a lot easier.

I like to write notes to people i will most likely never see again. Like if I'm traveling in a different state for example, I'm more willing to take risks, and the easiest risk to take is giving a complete stranger a note manifesting that i think theyre beautiful and then I walk away as fast as I can and dont look back. And then I listen to god only knows by the beach boys and imagine all the different ways I could (but never would) approach her

Fellow ENFP here :)) The one and only thing thing I’m shockingly cautious about is romantic relationships. I’ve only had two crushes in my lifetime, during both of which I was content with just feeling giddy around a certain person and then going about my day. I wasn’t going to act upon any of my feelings because 1. Both of them were back in middle school and 2. I knew I was obviously more in love with the idea of the person rather than their actual selves. Also, what was I supposed to do about a crush in middle school? Get married? To me, the emotions had zero tangible purpose, which was exactly how I liked it; it was the purpose excuse to daydream about someone for hours without making any commitments to them in reality. I’m now in high school and I’ve been quite a few years without a crush. I’d much rather wait until I’m farther on in life to pursue relationships. I’ll be better off looking for romantic partners once I’m more mature, able to take care of myself (let alone a whole other person), financially stable, sure of my beliefs and goals, and generally having a direction in life. Sure, I won’t wait FOREVER, but I have plenty of years ahead of me until I think I’m ready to open that chapter. (Though of things somehow fall into place prior, I suppose I won’t object.)
@miahan89883 жыл бұрын
