If you start reading comic books you will see how powerful the characters can be. Comic books characters have done way more powerful stuff then what dbz/dbs characters have ever done.

That's not the issue. They scaled Vegeta's Ultra Ego closer to his Blue Evolved form, rather than waiting for more reliable feats to be shown in that form. Considering how crazy Saiyan transformation turn the tables for either Goku or Vegeta against enemies that obliterate them with a nut tap, it would have been smarter to wait instead for this match up, but they rushed it and gave us a half assed mess, just like many of their battles that have gone notoriously debunked, yet they fail to acknowledge. Just hearing their explanation for this victory was painful and it was obvious even they had little idea how to explain it without just assuming things left and right. It was all speculation rather than solid numbers, like Thor.

Rune King Thor is canon to Earth-616, since the story arc that he appears in is after his alternate-future self undid his past actions in The Reigning storyline. Now Thor: The Reigning is Earth-3515, while Thor #80 (1998) onwards is Earth-616. That includes the whole Ragnarok storyline and it’s subsequent nerf and reintroduced of the character in 2007. So Thor didn’t have the Rune King powers for long (like, 8 pages I think), but it is cannon.

It’s crazy to think, but the Marvel universe technically has only been reset once, and 616 Thor was never touched during that time. We’re talking over 65+ years of uninterrupted continuity and feats for the character that have not been retconned. Heck, they didn’t even use Rune Kung Thor, which is Thor with the inherited Odinforce and all the Nordic ruins(which is technically cannon and his strongest iteration).

It is said that Thor Killed The Serpent by cutting off it's head but doing so also released a Poison that Thor breathe in and it killed him. Where another version says That the Serpent ATE Thor Whole and Thor manage to cut open the Serpent but with it's insides the Poison and Acid mix together killed Thor.... These were and are the only way Thor can and could be killed...... Hell Thor and Wolfie Together. Fought Hulk , and The Hulk Broke and tore them both into nothing but bones, but they STILL came back.... Wolfie taking a few hours to Heal fully, where as Thor for longer............And Vegeta Weakness is his own Ego..... If he wwas more like goku. Hell maybe even had MUI Like Goku. THEN MAYBE he would hav a better chance......MAYBE and this is a BIG MAYBE. we can be lucky to get Vegeto with MUI,and MUE together. For a Ultimate winning Chance on DC/Marvel characters.

Ultra Ego seems to indicate a power boost similar to Ultra Instinct and that transformation turned Goku from a lm insignificant big compared to Jiren, to being superior and would’ve won. That’s a huge gap

Uktra Insinct gives a boost but Ultra Ego is inherently different and has more potential for raw power. Tehy didnt explain it correctly. It's not that he acn return hits he takes even more powerful. It's that his list for battle fuels the transformation, and the longer the battle goes on, the stringer he gets. And it has to eb a tough battle. Its basically the more damage he takes the more power he can put out.

@@sheevpalpatine6139 I get that, what I’m meaning is that these transformations tend to seem to really amp up the overall power, durability and speed/reaction time of Goku and Vegeta, to the point that they’re in a whole other class of power output. So my point was that using Jiren for scale dealing with SSB Kaioken x20 on Goku and then how he responded to all the stages of Ultra Ego, Vegeta likely had a similar boost so that the forms are relatively on equal footing.

One thing I think justifies Vegeta's loss here is the fact that *It's on Point for Him.* Vegeta is very seldom a "Closer" in Dragonball. Don't get me wrong or misunderstand me here, I'm not saying he's weak, or bad, or cant kick ass. Not even close. What I'm saying is that Vegeta Regularly Struggles to secure that W in a 1 on 1 Bout like this. He *can* win solo fights, but he really shows his "I'm the Prince of the Saiyans" title in this regard (where he's a skilled and trained fighter, like any royalty from a war-like society would be trained to be, but its clear there are combatants who ARE superior to him, which is fine, because a leader doesn't need to be the top dog. A good leader knows when to Lead and when to trust others to fight for him etc.). Where Vegeta *Excels* however, is in "Holding The Line". Need someone to hold off a massive threat until backup arrives? Vegeta's Pride ain't gonna let him die until *Someone* who can kill the problem shows up, regardless of if that "someone" is himself or Goku, or whoever. He'll go down fighting like an absolute badass and you can be absolutely, completely, and totally certain that anyone who beats Vegeta has to *Earn* that victory. I mean heck, Vegeta got *ONE* Final Flash on Thor and it very clearly did a LOT of damage (not enough for a kill but you can be certain there are almost certainly scenario's where that may have actually gotten a kill). Ultimately, Vegeta's most effective bouts tend to be "Co-op", where he works together in some fashion with another character, which honestly fits really nicely with his character in my opinion, since he's this big lone wolf and yet he knows that, deep down, every time he works together with someone, he kicks way more ass than he does by himself on average because he knows he's got someone watching his back. One thing we can say for certain though, either way, is that Vegeta is probably having a beer with Thor in Valhalla after this, because my man Vegeta easily earned a place in Valhalla with his performance here.

I want to point out the big reason why Comic characters are so much more powerful then DBU as of right now they been around for about 50 more years 1936 was the first DC and Marvel was not long after 1939 3 years after. Dragon ball didnt even start till 1984. Dragon ball just needs more tme to build and grow and chatch up to them as fast they going though I would not be surprised if DBU passes DC and Marvel in the next 15 years. SUperman though is not even possible he has so many feats and he even took ot worldforger barbatos and even in C52 he was able to shatter Phatom Strangers physical body and his infinte metaphysical body in one hit he also did the same to Soulfire darksied. Meaning he has feats of taking out guys who are even beyond the feats and power of Zeno. I say just give it more time.
