Compulsive Screamer Well, no. Pegasi and unicorns do not have the same abilities as an Earth Pony. Usually, Earth Pony's are stronger and have a very unique connection to the ground. They are also the only type of pony that has been shown to have the ability to turn into a Party Pony, as well as the only Pony type to have a Pinky/Cheesy/Maud sense.

Spike has a mouth capable of eating diamonds, meaning his teeth are able to break diamonds and his gums and internal organs are powerful enough to digest it without harming themselves. He is capable of swimming in molten lava, has a flamethrower powerful enough to melt an iceberg and.... Let's be honest, think about the abuse he suffered without serious injury. He's also strong enough to carry whatever it is he has to. Little guy is tougher then he looks.

I didn't even watched the DB. I just spoiled myself throught TV Tropes, that's what I always do when a faved heroic character is pitted on DB. After learning the predictable truth, I just avoid watching it. Same with Sonic vs Mario, Luigi vs Tails and Mega Man vs Astro Boy. When the faved characters are villains like Starscream and Darth Vader, or morally gray like Scout, I can more or less afford it. (Granted, Scout lives in a universe that references the respawn, so I could take the defeat, althought I still dislike how the battle turned out). I do make a distinction between faved and liked characters, so the Megazord vs Voltron, Batman vs Spiderman and Black Panther and Shovel Knight vs Scrooge McDuck were battles that made me sad but I could watch it. A lot of people say Twilight did at least fought as a formidable opponent. It doesn't make me feel better because I'm pretty much result driven rather than path driven. XD

Gonna be that guy... One question about the research on the battle, you guys said Twilight took the hit from Tirek that went through the mountain was due to her using a magical shield. However if you look at the aura around Twilight, the appearance of it is identical to her levitation spell, not her shield spell. In fact compare this image of her lifting the Ursa Minor in Season 1 versus the aura after she hits the mountain: mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Telekinetic_feats_of_strength?file=Ursa_sucking_on_the_bottle_S01E06.png img.photobucket.com/albums/v215/Kagens/twimountainhit_zps46cv0bot.png Aside from color, the shape of the auras are exactly the same, and the color difference is simply due to the fact that Twilight's aura color changes over the course of the seasons. Now compare those wavy shaped levitation auras to Twilights actual shield aura. mlp.wikia.com/wiki/File:Twilight_protects_herself_and_Spike_from_magic_blast_with_bubble_shield_S5E26.png Its a solid bubble shell, not a wavy shape. Clearly the spell Twilight is using when she hits the mountain is a levitation spell to hold herself up, not a shield spell to protect herself. The reason is because her body alone is strong enough to take that hit, and the hit afterward that sends her through the mountain. Now, some might say that its because she's powered by the magic of the other alicorns that allows her to do this, however there's no evidence in the show that suggests an alicorn's physical abilities are affected by the amount of magic they have. Strength, speed, durability, these are factors of just being an alicorn alone, not necessarily affected by having more or less magic. So its logical to conclude Twilight took that hit with her own base durability, not because she's charged with more magic. Furthermore, after taking that hit, she's utterly unscathed. Not a scratch or bruise on her. She's not even dazed. So why did the Death Battle treat that durability feat as her maximum durability, instead of her minimum durability? Given the hit didn't do anything to her, its reasonable to conclude she could take hits far, far greater than that, yes? Would it have made a difference against Raven? Maybe, maybe not, but I was curious about what appeared to be an inaccurate assumption about how Twilight took that hit, and the assumption it represented the strongest hit she could take, instead of one she shrugged off with no visible harm to her. Not hating on your guy's results, I still figure Twilight would lose due to lack of combat experience versus Raven's far superior track record, but this bit still made me wonder if you guys just missed that Twilight was using levitation, not a shield, or if you had evidence that it actually was a shield from a source I haven't found yet.

BlackMercury 1344 I would say Storm but she only has power over wind, electricity, and water to an extent while Korra has power over all the elements plus she has the Avatar state which amplifies her already powerful elemental abilities to boot so I would unfortunately have to say Korra wins unless Storm outsmarts her.

It should be obvious enough that Storm wins to anyone that knows her basic feats... A lot of the time avatar fans just state anything Aang/Korra can do that Storm can't and say that's an advantage when its actually a useless point. Her power over wind and electricity alone is more than enough to stomp Korra. Wind will blow eveything she throws away or better yet back at her as she tosses tanks and sentinels with ease, and Korra will instantly be koed with lightning/electricity. Bending more physical elements doesn't mean its an advantage, and Storm actually has more variety considering her power over air pressure, temperature and electromagnetic energy as well as air and electricity. This is an advantage: All of her powers will cripple Korra, she can't react to them because they happen instantly and she can't defend against them.

The "death" being debatable (the end being intentionally made ambiguous according to the exclusive commentary). For all we know, Twilight Sparkle survived being rammed at Mach 36 but obviously still embedded in the earth and needs help in getting out and a body cast after. XD XD

ajr74805 Nonetheless, she was still defeated by Raven. In my opinion, Twilight did survive the fight. She was just simply scared off by Raven's superior magic and she teleported out of the area just seconds before Raven's Soul Self smashed into the ground where she once stood. That is just how I think the fight played out in the end and I choose to believe it out of respect for the mare that I love so dearly. Raven is a good character and I respect her as well as her fans, yet Twily is just far more relatable to me as an individual and that is why I believe she survived her encounter with Raven. Much respect and love, yo!

True cause seeing the Soul Self collide into the ground is enough to let people know that Twilight died from the impact but overall both characters gave it their all and was an epic battle
