StevenCrowder no feminist is going to change my mind about this stuff. They are under informed or, more often, misinformed. As long as I hear feminists screech about male privilege, I’m not gonna listen. Not when I hear stories about companies literally create jobs just to hire a woman while men can’t get a break.

Had a woman who lived with me. We got into a yelling argument. She stated that she was going to call the cops and get me arrested. She said this because she knows that a female crying to the cops and spots whatever lie she wants will be believed and I a man will not be heard, detained, arrested, and my future destroyed all because we got into a yelling argument. Please tell me more how women don't have privlage and men do.

To be the Devil’s advocate, a second, you accidentally affirmed a male dominance in your field of work by saying all the women at your work make the same money. The men, around you, however, must then make more than you, because they’re mostly doctors by ratio. Now if you were to have said all the women doctors make as much as the male doctors, of course. But the point is, there are more women nurses and more male doctors than women doctors. This is the sticking point. It is changing, though! Women continuing to succeed in the old typical male roles is the best inspiration for more to follow.

That’s what I was also thinking throughout this video. Like regardless of the validity of her points, or what side she’s on or anything like that. You really gotta respect her coming on the show to debate Steven respectfully and not just victimizing herself and attacking him. This kind of content and discussion is what we need more of today because the reality is that the people at the extremes of either argument are such a small minority

I think the answer would be for another movement to replace the feminist one except this time we should just try to get things right finally and make it truly egalitarian. From her body language, she knew from the start she wasn’t a productive debater. Her constant hands through her hair was her trying to comfort herself because she could tell she wasn’t a match for a debate with Steven. Her tone, every time she ended her factual sentences to sound like a question (tone went up instead of down), was her not being sure of herself and her stumbling on her words and her “trying to focus” was a sure sign she was getting flustered and felt lacking. She said nothing that I even remotely agree with so Steven still stands strong in my opinion.

Yep they just follow the basic neomarxist template. It's pretty easy to learn, then it can be used for anything, anytime. As Dr Jordan Peterson summed up: 1. Observe any area of human activity. 2. Observe the distribution of success and failure. 3. Label the successful oppressors, and the failures as oppressed. 4. Blame all failure on the oppressors, and identify with the oppressed. 5. Rinse and repeat. Edit for typo

It's been really unpleasant. On social media, pretty much all of my friends have distanced themselves from me. My hobbies include folk herbalism and tarot reading..both hobbies draw a lot of feminists. LOL, and the groups I"ve been in (online and IRL) have disowned me and pretty much don't want anything to do with me. People are either really quiet or they want a fight, and they are really nasty. The feminist narrative is tightly woven into so many things. I joined a parenting group with an author I deeply respect, on Facebook, and was thrilled to learn more and ask questions. But as soon as I read the first post, I knew I was in trouble. She began with blathering on about how patriarchy has ruined the home for women and that she wanted to open a discussion on how to get your man to watch the kids and do chores after work, "because being a mom is hard, and women have succeeded in the workforce, so it's men's turn to succeed in the home". She trashed men in a few ways, and I asked, "What valuable advice could you possibly have for a woman with a boy child?" . I was banned the next day. I think I just need to spend some time moving into new hobbies and whatnot. The echo chamber is deep. Once I realized that, I thought.. how far must I walk to get out of here?! haha! I have a feeling it's going to get worse before it gets better, though. All anti-feminist women need to speak out.

Ray Woods I feel for you on that. It does get better though, just try to consistently demonstrate a calm, rational, evidence based position and thought process. Think about where she's coming from, emotionally and influences wise- as well as getting her to think of where you're coming from -And she'll probably grow into a more well rounded person for having gone through various radical positions when she has no real _control over_ or _responsibilities to_ the world or society. I've seen many young people in my practice and I can say with near certainty that you will likely be able to do very little in the way of swaying their political attachments directly, only give them the tools and thought processes needed to suss out a more thorough opinion.

The best debate I have watched in a VERY long time..no yelling or talking over each other. Logical discussion back and forth and actually listening to each other.. Thank you Crowder and thank you Maria…we could actually fix some of these issues if there were more open discussions by both sides like this, of which are so rare.. Woman and men are not the same.. both sexes have very different needs and wants and yes there are some areas we see and want the same thing… women are better at some things than men and men are better at some things than women.. That was by design…for a good reason… and how boring life would be the more we become like each other...I had to raise two boys without their father. All though I thought I was able to do just as good a job as having both of us parenting, I proved to myself it was not the case. I was too soft, of which I believe children need that softness, they also needed the tough dad that see things black and white, where women see in colours…It was exhausting… I made many mistakes…we have more equality now than ever before in history and yet our western societies are falling apart more than ever…I believe it is because we have been slowly degrading and breaking up the nuclear family for decades now. Both my sons are now married to women whom dominate the relationship. Now the husband/father not only has to work all day and week, but they have to come home straight into looking after the children followed by cooking and if they don’t share the housework look out.. and I see my two sons sad and tired a lot.. and these mums didn’t work for the first year at least by the way…One of my daughter in laws rarely cooks, and I mean rarely. I am all for equality in the marriage but there needs to be fairness and compromise..The problem we have in the world is humans do not know how to find a happy medium. We go from one extreme to the other. Example, at one time in history the men did over dominate. Then women fought back, but now women want to dominate and not find an honest happy medium…Men are suiciding like never before as they have lost their purpose and self respect… It needs to stop…it is so sad for me as a mother to see my sons in this situation… it breaks my heart. We have been encouraged to turn away from God also, and this has had a negative impact on relationships also….. Yes I had a rant… I needed it.. God will sort this out in the end….

I just came across this interview. In the end of April 2022. This is a great interview. This is how discussion should be had. I wonder what Maria Del Russo is doing now as far as her political view. I don’t use Twitter so I wouldn’t know. But I am very interested to see what her logic is now. And I think she did have some interesting perspectives in the matter as well. This is some really good content.

There isn't a patriarchy. Women have vastly more opportunities than men do in this country. I'm involved in STEM (biochemistry) and I ended up getting further BECAUSE I was a woman... Hell, my scholarship was "Women in STEM"...We need to have true equality, because right now men are suffering...especially heterosexual white men... Also, my boyfriend is about to graduate from medical school.... it's nearly a 50/50 split. He's going into Pediatrics.... it's 80/20 (women to men)... STOP it with this "boohoo poor women" BS.

Women are currently on a path to dominating law and medicine, already dominating psychiatry and biology. Life orientated and language and catergorization oriented fields that are highly respectable and well paid. These are fields that female hormonal biology offers advantage. But you'll never hear them mentioned in feminist discussions. The assumption that positions where psychology openly forwards the idea that psychopathy is an advantage (politics, business leadership) will somehow be equally filled by women, who are, as a group, disposed to empathy and feelings is kind of a denial of gender differences when it comes down to it. It isn't "male priviledge" it's just "gender difference".

Ive dealt with male priviledge on small levels so you can really see it up close and personal. I worked at a video production company and everytime a project would come up it was suggested the man should go bcz the equipments heavy and the people we work for respect men more. I went to one event to film a fun event for a friend and a man thought i shouldnt be there. I was finally sent to assist a man with a job, he had to leave, i took over and the customer loved my work. After that i went out as the lead producer but the man tried to take credit. He couldnt and everyone asked for me. My boss wanted me to be the new head producer, camera operator and editor but i reminded him i was leaving in 3days he should have given me the chance rather than bringing his son in and making me babysit while doing my other job. Bcz im a girl i was looked at as someone who couldnt do the job, but if my boss had looked at my work and realized i was the one getting the perfect work he could have helped grow his business and help me grow my career. Its just a little example but it was male priviledge, i worked with 90percent men and it was just assumed that men did one thing and women were okay to answer phones, copy tapes, do books, and babysit. I filmed documentaries, films, shorts, etc and my boss thought a man had done it and i was just standing there

Confused why these young women who have had every opportunity for self driven success use cheesy feminist talking points to make themselves seem disadvantaged. Today girls get HUGE advantages over boys in school...STEM field trips just for the girls and more scholarships also. I think that the younger generation of girls are just spoiled lazy thinkers. They look at issues in the most simplistic ways. Multi-variable thinking is thrown out the window.

Julie jmomm It's easy to blame people you've never met for your problems, but there is genuine redemption in realizing you're at fault for most of your problems and taking responsibility. I was brainwashed by Missouri State, and blamed everyone else for the fact that I couldn't find a job despite having two degrees. My mom sat me down one day and told me that this is the freest society that humans have ever created, and that I'm the only one to blame for my problems. The way she put it was firm and condescending, so obviously I took serious offense, but after a few weeks of dwelling on it - it started to resonate with me. It made sense. So I went and did the opposite of what I was doing. Six years later I own and operate a 3d animation studio that I started and built from the ground-up that currently employs 7 people, and did so with zero formal education or experience in the field. I found success through sacrifice, 16 hour days of research and hard work learning everything there is to know about the industry. God bless America for giving me the option of success thru hard work because I'm not very smart. I feel sorry for the young women who don't have a mother to give them the reality check my mother gave me.

Yeah, and I thought “well, maybe there’s a hereditary argument to be had here?” But no.. because a man can have only daughters and their “success” will be transferred unto those daughters.. so, what can be held more firmly in respect to the “hereditary racism advantage” (most black families being disadvantaged because their ancestors having been slaves, not be able to accumulate wealth and property for their work) - the same argument can not be held by feminists..

Exactly. They want some form of reparations. But just like with African-Americans and their argument, no man shall be responsible for another man’s actions, especially those actions committed by different people (in the past even, and against people who are not themselves even). There just isn’t a stance for either group to make that would grant them any (extra) privilege for their ancestors’ lack of it. For any group wanting to prove their worth and equality amongst others, the demand for extra privilege deflates their argument by making them look pathetic and unequal.

At school, this feminist told me to stop manspreading. There was no space between my legs. In study hall the 3rd to last day of school, one girl had her legs spread like she was getting frisked while writing on the board. (This teacher is awesome. He cusses, is funny, and I actually learned) Someone said, "Why are your legs so far apart?" I immediately retorted with "Shes womanspreading.". The feminist blew up "THATS NOT A THING" and started arguing. My teacher was red faced and wheezing. She ended saying "Womanspreading isnt real! Only men spread their legs!" Before I can tell her why we have to do so, my teacher does. Still red faced. One of my favorite school memories.

@@MegaSpideyman not value. children arent more "valuable" than men or women objectively speaking, but are more vulnerable, need protection and cant fight for themselves. the logic behind prioritizing in dangerous situations is whoever has the best chance of defending themselves, has to stay last. its why leaders stay behind their group, armies stay behind their cities, etc. women were put in that category of vulnerability as well, and for good reason if we talk about before modern times where we level the field with guns and fighting styles tailored to giving us an advantage to counter the disadvantage. its odd how some women pretend that theyre as strong as men nowadays, modern times have really deceived them. however, today, only children still widely apply to this standard of prioritizing their safety as they still cant fight back. if a woman has a gun and is trained in using it and a man isnt, SHE'S the one doing the protecting. it wouldn't be appropriate for her or, say, her husband to try to put the responsibility of protection in the man's hand, when he know longer has the strongest line of defense, his body.

This feminist triggers me. I have started from the bottom at an entry level job, getting paid the EXACT same as my male coworkers. - which really sucked because when everyone gets paid the same (men or women) it feels like you don’t get paid for the actual work you do. I built my way up in that company and ended up being in a higher management position getting paid purely based on my quality and skills I had to offer. I got paid more than some men and less than some men. And just to mention- no one EVER asked me if I would have a baby, they just mentioned what the maternity leave policy was at the company. I loved working long hours, being in a management position and dealing with people because I was damn good at it, not because of my gender. I never planned to get married or have kids, though I did want them at some point, I just worked 24/7 Fast forward a couple years. I just had a baby and I’m a stay at home wife and mother. I love the work a wife does as it pertains to her husband- even though previously I was very independent and provided for my self (I’ve never been a feminist) I love making dinner, doing laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping because when my husband comes home from working a long day that is my way of doing my part in our family so he doesn’t have to. Of course he helps when I need. The point of this is: I have been on both sides of the spectrum. No one forced me to be a “house wife” and no one ever held me back in my field of work because I was a woman. Gender should DOES NOT MATTER. If I wanted my husband could be a house husband and I could be the provider. But guess what, that would hurt my husbands pride. WHICH IS A GOOD THING. He prides in providing for his family and that’s all I could ask for.

I love when she tried to say something about "im sure you have your echo chambers that you stick to" and Crowder pointed out to her that "but your here". Thats a huge difference between the right and left. Usually, the left stay very much in their echo chambers. Not saying it doesnt exist on the right as well, but i see far more ppl on the right willing to talk to ppl outside they're bubble then the other way. Which is why i gave her a ton of credit for being willing to come on and have a civil debate. And shes actually more attractive then most feminists i see.
