Memes and reels are my husband and I’s new past time. We just send them to each other all day, we even used up all our data! We NEVER do that. Trying to find happiness somewhere/somehow in this World. I also learned that after any long holiday with all my kids and my husband, I NEED a day completely alone. Took the day off on Monday and it was incredible. Moms, I highly suggest it. AND don’t tell anyone you took the day off.

Discovering your channel in 2021 was the greatest thing for me. I completed a year in November at my new job that I love after working for a psycho for 5 years. I was so miserable there that I lost my joy in getting ready and self care in general. Our son is 8 months and we’ve been so accommodating for friends and family and not wanting to inconvenience anyone by us having a kid but we’ve decided f that. He’s our priority so if you want to visit him come to us. No more overnight trips for us, definitely not more than one night. He sleeps like crap and so do we which makes every trip miserable

Keeping a sense of humor no matter what is key. So is uplifting friends around you. I'm a parent who's old enough to remember parenting styles throughout the ages, and what I've noticed is that children nowadays are picking up on their parent's stress like never before. On top of that, I'm seeing parents managing their kid's time into 2 hour slots, and not giving them a chance to catch their breath, be lazy, be bored. There doesn't always have to be a plan. Lounging around can be a good thing too. What occurred to me recently is that children (in general) are having a harder time making stronger human connections. At least, it's what I'm seeing in Los Angeles. Kids are shyer, they don't approach other kids as much in a social way on the playground. It used to be that kids would head over to the park UNSUPERVISED to go play with all the other kids there. Well, that ship has sailed, but it's what kids are missing. And they'd give up their electronics right now just to be able to play with lots of kids. Organized playdates aren't as good of a replacement. And of these kids are missing the ability to form solid bonds with potential friends, then that's the problem, because friends are what get you through the hard times. They're teaching suicide prevention in the 4th grade now. What's it gonna take to turn things around? Summer Camps? Idk.

I’m totally with you even though we have a way different jobs just the vibe it seems like it’s hard to control the energy and the emotions of life it’s just so many differences make it difference.. just wanted to comment on that but I relate I work in surgery in the operating room 12 hour night shift and I just can’t get it together I can’t get to work on time it’s mine boggling so just so you know we all struggle and we don’t understand but talking about it it’s not bad sometimes peace sister
