I saw that movie and it is so good...we can learn some lessons from this little woman. She was amazing...she never stopped painting their walls of their little home and the outside etc. She didn't let her disabilities stopped her doing almost anything that she putted her mind to...and did what she loved the most painting....and she loved her husband. I love this movie.May God bless you two. Love your videos. Bye!

Great video guys!! I absolutely love Maud Lewis she was an incredible lady and a brilliant artist...my sister in law found a couple of her original paintings in a garage sale in the Valley a few years ago...apparently someones family members had passed away and they sold most items from the home in a garage sale....they are absolutely beautiful pieces and displayed proudly in my brothers home...that winery is beautiful what a great find!!! I think the ferry left early so you could explore that very unique lighthouse and see those amazing views!! You two make Nova Scotia proud!!...thanks again showing the world the amazing places Nova Scotia has to offer!!...much love from Ontario...Viv & Darrell...stay safe

I would have wished that rather than lumping Maud's home into the current trend of tiny homes this video would have made clear, or at least mentioned, that the reason the home was so small was due to the fact that Maud lived a hard life of abject poverty. The house was tiny not because it was cute, or trendy, but because they were destitute. The click bait title really does a disservice to the memory and harsh reality of Maud's life. Those "cute" paintings were a distraction from the sad reality of everyday life, and offered a mental escape from her abusive marriage.
