Behind neck press was my favorite after all my pro athletes doing it the right way still get injured. I ignored it because I felt invisible after 6 years of behind the neck press my rotor cuff finally is missed up. Be careful!

I have shitty shoulder mobility and can do BTNP just fine. Full ROM too. I think easing into it helps tremendously. I started with 65-ish % of my 3RM regular press for some very controlled triples, kept it below 75% for months. Highest intensity I've gone on it is 80% for a 8RM. Honestly, flat bench have fucked with my shoulders way more more than BTNP.

+Skillica Yeah it's not the safest workout to do but it does work. Try leaning your head a bit more forward and keep the bar as close to your head as possible so you don't have to stretch your shoulders to far back

+Skillica Yeah same here. I can't do them. I also can't do the upright rows. My shoulders go "pop" on every rep. Once you have injured your shoulders they never get back to 100%. Pisses me off because my shoulders are one of my weaker points and I would love to kill them.
