Actually 4 modes: 1 all on 2 traction off stability on (one push) 3 traction and stability off (brake and hold) 4 “sport mode” some traction and stability on and steering set to sport feel (brake on and press traction button twice)

The Traction Control is what causes people to lose control. That’s one of the biggest faults of Mustangs. It’s too sensitive. I turned mine off because it kicced in when I was coming off the highway, it made the Car turn to the right and activated the ABS which caused me to slide partially sideways down the exit ramp. All because I hit a little bump in the uneven road.

Correct, the light is only on when you turn tc off.

The traction control is deadly I tried turning a tight turn to the right the traction control kicked in and I lost control and almost hit the sidewalk because it decided to turn my car more right and activate abs

Yeah I thought I heard something about this. Thankfully I have a 2015 but I'm sure I still have some issues. Although I like keeping traction control on because I think it's a little more predictable when I pull out and get my tail out from a stop. But I don't do any drifting and don't like having it off for launches either. Just for peace of mind. I'm not Ken Block😂

So you turn the button ON for 8se onds to turn the trac ah ster ah astabilty ah off so we are sure you have it ah on . The stabilty ah traction ah is ah on so its all ah off and when it comes on it ah is off so thw squirrwl is not ah on but the trac I mean stabilty is off . I work for FORD so thats all there is . But it comes on anyway .

@@brentbrowning2041 We’re you paying attention when he said there’s 2 different levels? You have to hold the brakes AND hood the button for 8 seconds to get advance trak off. If you’re already driving, you can’t just reach down and turn it off

@@MrLuvtheUSA yeah I understand 100% that there’s 2 levels to traction control lol. You push it once and it turns traction off and then you hold it for about 8 seconds and it turns advanced trac off. But in my car, I had it completely off and it came back on for a split second and went back off. Pretty sure it was an electrical issue on mine. But yes, I figured that all out a few years ago in my personal car

I’ve recently had my TC so weird stuff with my brakes just driving normally to work an dry roads. Like it’s trying to wreck me🥴. Idk if it’s a wheel speed sensor or what, but it’s happened 2 or 3 times and it’s kinda scary
