I had been checked out prior to this marriage for it & had been fully cleared by my OB/GYN doctor for any diseases, so I did not already have it. The cheating spousecwas checked during the divorce & he was the "carrier" because they could tell how long he had it. I was fully faithful before & during the marriage.

I thank my mother for getting me to get the HPV vaccine when I was a teen. At the time it was advertised as gardasil, a "girl vaccine" and as a dumb teenage boy I was against getting the shot. It kind of upsets me that when the HPV vaccine came out years ago I was told, “You’re a man & in your early 20’s you don’t need it.” Now the FDA has approved it for men & women up till age 45. I've had cryosurgery done & precancerous cells removed through leep surgery from my cervix from getting HPV from my ex. He slept with many women. When I had a pap test done the gynecologist also did an HPV test & medicare has denied paying for it. I didn't even know she did this test while she was doing the pap test. She's the expert & due to my medical history she felt it was necessary to do, so it's amazing strangers at medicare have decided I didn't need it. Now insurance companies are saying a woman should only have a pap test once every three years. With all the cancers I feel this isn't right to do to women. I'm surprised women aren't marching in the streets over this. Men can have a prostate exam yearly & their insurance pay for it.

HPV vaccine has horrible side effects and risks that the doctors won't inform you about on the small leaflet they hand out. I hope all those considering will read the web site for side effects. My son had only the first one in the series and he felt like he was having a heart attack all week after. The web site states that the symptoms get more pronounced with each in the series.
