I totally get the idea to do a mobile game. They generate a lot of money. But I dunno with this I mean Destiny 2 has struggled a lot especially after The Final Shape which was great but had the largest player count fall off in Destiny history. I just don’t see this being as successful as they think it may be especially if you can’t link your current account to it and bring in your character and for many of us we’ve had those characters for years now I don’t really wanna play a new one

Problem is that the one we see on the intro is a _void_ thing, and we already have 3 void supers… I would fix that by either: ⚪️Collapsing the two different but still similar Nova Bomb supers into one another (tap the super for the Vortex, or hold it down for the cataclysm), and use the open space for the scythe. ⚪️Make the Scythe a part of the already similar Nova Warp (possibly tie it to an Exotic Armor or even Weapon, like how Nighthawk modifies the Golden Gun). ⚪️Make the Scythe part of an Element that has yet to receive a third Super (so for Warlocks that would be either Arc, Stasis or Strand). ⚪️Make it Prismatic exclusive, and have it be a combination of Elements based on your Melee, Grenade, and/or Aspects.

That doesn't mean that at all. You've got your timeline completely messed up. You're confusing the Dark Age with the Rise of Iron DLC. In the Dark Age the House of Devil's splicers did not have SIVA, Rasputin did have access to caches though. But that doesn't make SIVA a possible enemy. SIVA is not an enemy innately. It's whoever controls it and alters it's directives from the standard construction ones.

Idea I had while watching this is linking it with your Bungie id, have an event in rising that leads your main game guardian to uncover a quest in D2. As rising is set as a prequel and darkness recovers memories you have a seamless lore explanation and new source of content, weapons. Now that said Bungie will NEVER do this as it makes sense and would be a fun game mechanic/loop but it’s there.

It's still not keeping true to the story which I don't particularly like, I would have liked it if they at least tried to read the lore and think before designing some of these things. But if they're using the paraverse concept that they used in Dares of Eternity then I'm happy. An alternate universe is good news, even if they kept to the established lore I would have liked it to be set in an alternate universe tbh.

I was looking forward to this game, despite not being incredibly interested in trying it out myself. One of the weirdest issues with the way bungie operates is that don't have another revenue stream, and didn't try to expand until D2 was very mature and recently in a bad spot. Only having a single game for so long isnt very sustainable. Not many studios can pull it off. Most need at least 2 on the go at all times or to be constantly working on sequels. A mobile game can help fill that gap really well, they're profitable when they're done well. We'll also have Marathon to add to that list too. These games have the potential to help the company a lot, and D2. If these things existed 2-3 years ago the layoffs and drop in revenue caused by Lightfall and the overexpansion of the company wouldn't have been so bad. They would have had these games to fall back on. But whilst the gameplay looks quite fun and interesting. It seems to completely spit on existing canon/lore in weird ways that you might not notice at first glance. The designs of certain NPCs are really strange too, the speaker for example. I hope they make a point to say that it's part of the paraverse, which was established by Dares of Eternity. I really dont want this game to effect established lore.

Imagine this: An alternate timeline where we have yet to meet Crota. Oryx is still alive, Savathun never got the light. The Witness is still out there. Atheon still exists. Eris still has her eyesight. And sooo much more. To be fair. I’d love it if we could maybe get the option to flip between first and 3rd person in destiny 2 at some point, also we got a crossbow in a destiny mobile game before destiny 2? RIP, I’ll definitely check it out and aslong as it’s not pay to win I’ll probably play it now and then, but we’ll see its net ease after all

They 100% just made this to make more money. It’s going to be overfilled with Eververse content. Instead of making a Destiny Spinoff that people may actually be interested in, like Payback, they do the Diablo Immortal “Do you guys not have phones?” Stunt
