Xavier gave Sabastian Shaw money and a chance to take down the woman who cheated him out of everything. Xavier is manipulating things to get the win and I love it, because I like that strategic, smart side of Xavier aside from *JUST* being a guy with telepathy.

True, but at the same time this proves that Charles Xavier isn't a good person. That he's just as problematic as old Erik or current Moria. Plus, him messing with time like that is going to backfire so much.

I can just imagine that Destiny is going to be sleeping on the couch for a while. Both for Sins of Sinister and the events of X men Blue. Probably Rogue’s couch. Also, Selene trolling Mother righteous was fun. I mean, if there’s anything that Selene is a master of, it’s trolling people.

He keeps saying that Jean Grey is dead. But we clearly see she still speaks, so clearly, Jean is still alive. Releases May 29th, 2024 Rise of the Powers of X #5, show Jean Grey is a Alive and have the power of the Phoenix.

I’m not gonna lie this storyline seems kinda stupid. They keep weakening the Phoenix for narrative purposes just because they can’t have it act in character or else it would solve problems in a far less contrived way. The Phoenix doesn’t need to be resurrected, it’s the Phoenix it should be able to do that on its own. If it wanted to bring Jean back, or if Jean wanted to tap into those abilities and bring herself back, she should be able to.

They did not weaken the phoenix at all. 2 Sinisters used the phoenix to achieve the dominion status but failed because of enigma. We know that jean grey is coming back because of her last solo(Jean Grey #4). This issue is just to fill in the spots of what happened in ROTPOX #2 kieron gillen specifically said that in the second issue of x-men forever the narrative will start focusing on jean.

Orbis stellaris! In a way... He used the M'kraan crystal that's connected/located in the WHR and Mysterium a material that is located to the WHR that deflects all type of magic.

Jean Grey is still alive and so is the Phoenix, They are both dying, but they're still alive. And if they resurrect, the phoenix is more for rebirth than a resurrection Or they revived the phoenix instead of resurrecting it.

In a way yes, especially with regards to Phoenix hanging on for life, but it is understandable to forget that Jean isn't in the White Hot Room the same way the Krakoan mutants are. Jean dies and appears there then could be reborn into the regular world, which makes her status tricky (and would explain why Doug's healing doesn't apply to whatever she technically is in that in-between state). The rest of mutants are flesh and blood, she's probably a psychic approximation of herself.

@@user-yp2iy2ww5p Rebirth implies coming back new and growing again, Resurrection implies bringing a dead thing back to life, so since Jean's physical body died on Earth, the speaker is looking at it from that point of view: Resurrection. I guess they use them incorrectly or interchangeably quite often, but if Rachel wants to save her mother it's a Resurrection she's trying to achieve. At least that's how I read it.

Technically, the resurrection would be More a revival then an actual resurrection, because it might be tricky of saying how they can resurrect the phoenix when it's already known to be a symbol of rebirth. I dragged my feet reading this issue because 'The Fall of X' has been a bit of a drag. I'm glad I read X-Men Forever because it was a lot of fun. I like that this issue tied up some loose threads. I thought it was a nice ending to 'Immortal X-Men'. Is 'X-Men Forever' a one shot?

He didn't. He killed the first Mr. Sinister which is the diamond clone, and the reason given is that it was too soon for him to know his purpose and origins. Remember that Sinister, Stasis and Stellaris, for a very long time, think they are the "true" continuation of the original Nathaniel Essex, and they also believe their mission to gather knowledge and attain godhood is their own idea. Instead these are all tweaks to their personalities to inspire them to approach dominion status from different angles: Sinister (Mutant research), Stasis (human Super science), and Stellaris (extraterrestrial science), while Righteous approaches it from (mysticism research). For Mr. Sinister to know he's a copy pursuing Enigma's goal and would fail so Enigma's rise could be ensured would probably derail his effectiveness.

@@chip5838 Ahhh, I made sure to look back at it and you're absolutely right. I thought you were referring to the incident on the bench at first. My interpretation in the cell with the original Sinister (real deal Essex) is that his future ascended self knows his past self needed to die and transfer his consciousness into the digital form he took prior to ascending to Dominion. Plus, even if it wasn't a straight up transfer, OG Essex was a broken man at that point, and it was the digital version of "him" that would be the self that survived into the 21st century to see the wonders he was raving about to Destiny.
